The water tower was a really unique building. The apartment was super modern and clean, with kitchen facilities. It is located in a lovely, quiet area with nice views of the boats sailing along the canal. The apartment was also within walking distance of the city centre and also the Stads park.
I have nothing negative to say about my stay. However, it is quite expensive for a one-person stay.

Beautiful location and design of the interior. High up from street level noise. Supermarket and local restaurants close by. Even city center is no more than 15 minutes walk.
Some confusion as to where i could find the code for the access cards but that got resolved very quickly after a call. Would have expected to find more soap to wash hands (only one available was in the toilet).

During our stay, we encountered several significant maintenance and operational defects that severely compromised the quality of the accommodation.
1. Heating and Insulation: The main bedroom window could not be closed entirely, and the latches on the remaining windows were broken and almost non-functional. Consequently, the room remained uncomfortably cold throughout our stay, a problem that could not be rectified even with the auxiliary bathroom radiator turned on.
2. Plumbing and Drainage: Severe drainage issues were present across the entire unit. Both sinks (in the primary bathroom and the separate toilet) were clogged. Furthermore, the shower drain failed almost immediately upon use, causing water to pool rapidly and overflow into the main floor area.
3. Noise Disturbance: On three out of the five mornings of our stay, we were rudely awakened by loud, persistent banging from maintenance work directly on the floor above us. Management failed to extend the basic courtesy of informing us in advance about scheduled disruptions, nor was any form of compensation offered for the inconvenience.
4. Facilities and Waste Management: Basic guest instructions regarding waste disposal were entirely absent. While a waste container was located outside the front of the property, it was secured with a chain and remained inaccessible.
5. Management & Staffing:
On two separate occasions, we contacted the hotel management—first to request additional towels and later to inquire about our room category. On both instances, the staff responded with commendable professionalism and courtesy. However, while the front-of-house service was polite, it could not compensate for the unacceptable noise levels and severe physical defects of the facility.
