Room with plenty of space and a kitchen unit to one side. We walked into the city centre a few times, but also used the bus to get to the citadel. Breakfast was extensive and good. The breakfast room was a little cramped which made access to some of the counter difficult. We stayed for two nights and it certainly worked for us.
The bathroom was rather smelly, but having said that most of the city had whiffs of sewer presumably due to the long spell of hot weather before we arrived. Definitely best to keep the bathroom door closed at night, and we left the extractor fan running during the day. Also ran all the taps to make sure all the traps were flushed through and filled. The room decoration was quite dated, and as red as shown in the pictures in the listing.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely lovely, kind, and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. The location was amazing, with easy access to public transport, making it so convenient for exploring Budapest.
The facilities were unreal, and the breakfast was definitely a highlight! There were so many delicious options to choose from, with something for everyone.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest and would happily stay here again if I get the chance to return. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

The staff was helpful. We stored our luggage, and when we came back after reception had closed, they had already carried everything to our room. The breakfast was a nice addition, although we only tried it once. The rooms are genuinely soundproof. There is air conditioning.
I expected a bigger room based on the pictures. The portable AC unit is a nice addition, but it wasn't enough to cool the room, even on the highest setting during the heatwave. (I have the same unit at home, so maybe there was something wrong with its exhaust, but I'm not sure. It is also noisy, though I'm already familiar with it. Others may not be.)
