Fantastic full English breakfast was included, and lovely meals were available from the kitchen. Nice atmosphere with kind and helpful staff. We had our meals in a cosy spot by the wood burning stove. It’s in a brilliant spot close to Dragon Hill, The White Horse and Uffington Castle. We were able to charge our electric bikes which were safely stored for us. Clean and spacious room with the private bathroom upstairs.

This is an authentic, country pub - no gaudy flashing lights or slot machines. Low beams (watch your head) and an atmosphere others try to imitate. Extremely warm welcome and made to feel at home the moment you arrive. Michelle and John who own and run the White |Horse, are the most accommodating and friendly hosts you'd like to meet. Food it outstanding and breakfast is superb - the poached eggs are the best I've had.
What's not to like? Bordering on perfection. Its location is a bit 'out in the sticks' but if you're willing to take the time to get there it will be so worth the trip.
