The building is beautiful - 10/10. The rooms large and well equipped, attention to detail is fantastic. Service is exceptional and breakfast is amazing. Location super, quiet street 2 minute walk from hustle and bustle.

The hotel is in a very historic house that had been modernized. Quite street close to the sunset wall and very close to everything in the city.Eexcellent breakfast and very accommodating staff. however, they do not make any recommendations for restaurants. I found this puzzling. Yes there is a restaurant on premises but it is not columbian food.
Because of issues with the first room, on our second stay, our room was comped, which was very gracious of the hotel. We did pay more for that room originally and it was the nicest. AC still needs a lot to be desired.
The room on the first floor next to the “pool” is very dank and smelly. We were relocated to different room the next day, which was nicer, but AC was not powerful enough. You do need an excellent AC in Cartagena.
