It was a quaint property, great location, friendly staff and the bed was incredible. Comfortable but also stunning carpentry of the frame, it was beautiful and certainly the focus of the room and the balcony was a great added bonus. So much so we will be trying to source a four poster bed like it. We also love how dog friendly the hotel is, it made out stay so much more comfortable.

Good location – just a short walk into Largs. The room was clean and comfortable.
The décor was slightly tired (as has been the case with many of the ‘budget’ hotels we had booked for overnight stops on our NC500 road trip). The door to the W.C. was ill-fitted and wouldn’t shut properly and some of the ceramic floor-tiles were cracked in places (what was it with the mirror over the wash-basin being stuck on top of another larger mirror)? Weird!
