Awesome location, near an old part of the city with preserved huge mansions from the gilded age of Bucharest. Nice room, homey feeling, very clean, a little retro. Take a stroll down Aviatorilor under the shade of old tikis and chestnut trees Blvd to Piața Victoriei, see the museums, have dinner at ‘Doina’ restaurant, walk through the Kisselef park on your stroll back to Helvetia. We stayed at other places in the area of Sector 1, this one is the best.

central location next to the wonderful park in Bucharest, super friendly helpful staff, enormous breakfast, personally prepared and served to order. The Pension is very nicely modest, feels much more homely than a larger glitzy hotel.
