Location,location,location

Location.Amazing.Near famous Puerta del Sol Square Staff so friendly Lounge with microwave and vending machine Bar few doors away for late drinks Cafe few doors away for breakfast

Some street noise overnight from passing early morning revelers ( out of Hotels control) TV didnt work ( wasn't bothered and didnt report to hotel) Extensive renovations going on nearby at Puerta Del Sol Square ( due for completion 2022) Room key cards stopped working after Day1 but reception sorted out promptly

A/C is not optional in Europe in summer! Keep it working, or warn your guests in advance!

great location near puerta del sol.

The A/C in our room was broken, and that's a deal breaker for summer in Madrid. We tried opening the windows but it's EXTREMELY noisy until 2am in that part of town. The staff person on duty was very nice, but was unable to solve the problem or move us to another room. The mechanic came after we checked out and his work suggested the A/C had been broken for some time, so it's disappointing they didn't fix this earlier. Overall we barely slept at all that night.

Quite basic hotel room but with a great location

The location of the hotel is great as it is 1 minute to walk to Puerto del Sol, decent size room, the price of the room was affordable compared to other hotels in this location, there are vending machines to buy various drinks

The hotel room is dated, there were noises coming from nearby rooms, the door to the bathroom was cracked, the bathroom had a shower including a shower curtain and water was splashing all over the floor

convenient and friendly

we liked the location , it was very convenient to all the attractions around Puerta del sol. We particularly liked the friendly help and efficiency of the staff with a special mention to Princess and Diary. we stayed on three occasions on this trip and would return happily.

given the location, there is lots of activity outside, but it can be a little noisy on the weekend

Excellent location and value! A little noisy at night.

The location is excellent. Literally steps from the metro, and all of the facilities you could need are close by.

It was extremely noisy outside, and we could hear everything. We did not get very restful sleep.

The staff were really friendly and we received a very warm welcoming. The location of the hotel was amazing, right in the heart of Madrid. Amazing food places and attractions minutes away.

The location is perfect. The staff were pleasant and the room was very clean.

It's quite noisy. The sound isolation of the room is quite bad. We had to use ear plugs to be able to sleep.

Very clean and friendly stuff. I just want to let futur visitors know that it can be noisy depending on the day or side of the room. Because the hotel is in the city center.

The location is in the heart of Madrid the best possible location just a walk to all the main sights the staff were the best to talk to and had very good local knowledge this is the place to stay in Madrid

Very nice for the price, but location not accessible by car

the hotel in general, was good staff is very friendly and supportive, but the location cannot be reached by taxi or any car, as it is in the middle of a street which is dedicated for walking only, so when we arrived the taxi dropped us about 150 meters away, and when we checked out, we had to walk till C.Mayor street to get a taxi, and we had alot of luggage with us, so this was vry tough to handle, the rest is good

better than any other places we have stayed in Madrid. great for families.

location and number of beds for children. facilities were much better than expected we were worried about parking but found an underground lot right around the corner that Maps took us to even with construction going on

Disappointing

I have mixed feeling with this hotel. The location is very central, it was really clean and the room very spacious. 24/7 front desk to check out whenever you need is very conveniant and the employee spoke all at least a bit of english which was really nice.

But what I didn't like was I arrived with a feiend who was staying somewhere else and she was not aloud to come to the room with me to leave her luggage there, the employees were not always friendly. I was given a room and when I told them I would need to check out at 6am they changed my room, without telling me why. Once I came into my room it was smelling smoke a lot, the view I had was to wall, there was very little toiletries (individual pouch which was not enough to wash my hair) and the worst part of it all was the air con (quite old looking), Madrid was 35°c or so when I was there and I put the air con to the minimum and it was still roasting in there.

Very good

I rented three rooms and each was with dissent size. I will recommend asking a room not from front of the building. The biggest advantage of this hotel is location. You need 10-15 minutes walk to the main attractions like Prado or Royal Palace.
