Although location was close to the beach, the beach was often very busy.
There was a ‘strip’ like road next to the hotel with shops that all sold the same thing, overall the area doesn’t have much charm but for little children that may not be what you’re looking for.

Really great hotel for families with young children- remarkably clean considering the amount of young children there. The breakfast buffet made dining with a baby and toddler super easy- so many highchairs, easy to feed little mouths (fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, breads/ toasts/ pastries) and continuously cleaned around you. Lots of pools so we could mix up time between the pool and beach. Great that pool towels are given and changed for dry ones whenever needed. We recommend getting a car and visiting the nearby beaches and ports - Formentor was our favourite beach (although playa de muro was also nice just water not as crystal clear as Formentor) and the port towns with playgrounds on the beach made early dinners really easy. A great location to base yourself for exploring alcudia Formentor with kids.
We had a 2 bedroom terrace with balcony but our view was of the reception/ car park. As we stayed in with the kids each evening we sat out on the balconies in the evening so ideally we would have had a slightly better view- if planning to do this maybe request a room with views of nature reserve! We didn’t ask to switch and I’m sure they might of but just a tip if this is your plan!

Beautifully presented property with a high end feel
Shame it wasn’t closer to the old town / harbour. Apart from that hunt pool bar / restaurant was disappointing, slow service and average food

Appearance good
The rooms were clean.
Food and drink in the hotel for lunch/snacks at right price point

The air conditioning had been centrally switched to heat mode even though it was 25 degrees outside meaning our room was very hot
Food in the buffet was not labeled and a lot of it was lukewarm with insets buzzing around (the odd one not a plague but enough for you to notice).
Only one of the pools were heated and that pool was over-crowded and it didn’t look very hygienic to be in due to the number of people using it.
It was difficult to make reservation in the Grill restaurant
Shower was blocked so the shower tray leaked over the bath room
Clothes steamer in room didn’t work
Bed mattress was too hard and therefore comfortable (but guess that’s a personal preference)
