Staying at Hotel Tarull was one of the highlights of my time in Tossa de Mar. What makes this hotel truly special is not only the location, but the warmth and genuine hospitality of Luis and his family. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome.
Luis is an exceptional host. He took the time to personally explain the area to me and shared recommendations for hidden beaches, beautiful viewpoints, local places, and other treasures of the region that I would probably never have discovered on my own. He did everything he could to make my stay as easy and convenient as possible. What impressed me most was that this personal attention was not limited to me—Luis seems to build a genuine connection with every guest, which gives the hotel a very special atmosphere that you simply do not get in larger hotels.
The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day, and the rooftop terrace is another highlight, with wonderful views over Tossa de Mar and the surrounding landscape.
The location is also fantastic. You are right in the historic part of Tossa de Mar, close to the beautiful old town and only a short walk from the beach. Everything is within easy reach, while the hotel itself still feels peaceful and welcoming.
Tossa de Mar and the surrounding region are beautiful: great food, friendly people, stunning coastline, and a remarkable amount of history and culture. Staying at Hotel Tarull made it even more memorable because Luis and his family helped me experience the place on a much more personal and local level.
I would absolutely stay here again and can recommend Hotel Tarull without hesitation.

The host is extremely nice and always ready to help you. It made us feel very comfortable.
The hotel it is located few minutes from the beach in the pedestrian area full of shops and restaurants.
It has a roof top terrace with impressive view over Tossa de Mar

The hotel is located in the old part of the city, close to the fortress, close to the bus station and close to everything you will need here. Very pleasant to stay. The owners are lovely and very kind. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is decorated with care and effort, and this is the attitude towards the guests.

The personal touch from Luis and his family made our stay very memorable. Large hotel chains cannot compete with a family run hotel of this calibre. We could not have asked for a more genuine host and hotel.
