View of Bosphorus, close to ferry terminal, tram to old city. The pool and spa

The location is just 5 minutes away from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. If you walk downhill, you can reach the tram and boat station at Kabataş, from where you can easily travel to different parts of the city.
The room was amazing—very clean, a great view of the Bosphorus, and a very decent size. The staff were also amazing and extremely helpful. We were traveling with our child, so they provided an additional bed and changed the baby crib for us in no time.
I absolutely loved the room, the peaceful balcony with its beautiful view, and the location. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend it.
Bathroom door does not have lock and it's glass door not visible from inside or outside but still should be wooden door and must have lock. also the shower room is little small and outside bathroom area way towards the bathroom so it feels like it middle of the room. That two things I didn't like for my room apart from this I love the room.

My stay at the Opera Hotel Bosphorus was truly excellent, and I would especially like to highlight Mr. Berke.
Mr. Berke is without doubt one of the most professional, friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful hotel staff members I have ever met. He takes his time with guests, listens carefully to individual wishes and always tries to find the best possible solution. His way of dealing with guests is extremely professional, warm and personal at the same time.
Mr. Berke already made my first stay at the Opera Hotel Bosphorus a fantastic experience, and he is honestly one of the main reasons why I decided to book this hotel again for my next trip to Istanbul. I am very grateful to Mr. Berke.
The hotel itself also impressed me a lot. The location directly by the Bosphorus is fantastic, and having breakfast on one of the terraces with a beautiful direct view over the historic Bosphorus is something very special.
I stayed in room 606, which was absolutely outstanding: spacious, modern, beautifully renovated, very comfortable and in excellent condition.
The breakfast also offers a very good and varied selection of both European and Turkish specialties. I especially enjoyed the freshly prepared pide, as well as the wide selection of cheeses and fresh fruit.
For me, one thing is certain: whenever I am in Istanbul, I would preferably stay nowhere else. And that is exactly what is happening now — I will be very happy to return again next week and I am already looking forward to my next stay at the Opera Hotel Bosphorus.

The view and closeness to taksim.
The room was old, the hotel requires an update and furniture needs a refresh its very outdated. The shower fan was broken, outdoor furniture was tatty, the electrical on one side of room kept shorting out so you couldnt use it. It has a stunning view but thats about it. Close to taksim but lots of noise and no soundproofing.
