A wonderful overnight stay at Scooniehill while my son and I visited St Andrews to attend the university open day – an easy ten-minute drive into town from the B&B. We had a fabulous room with an amazing view of the cathedral and sea – super clean and beautifully decorated, with lots of interesting local art and quirky touches, plus everything you could possibly need and thoughtful additions like decaf teas and a selection of snacks. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options, in the lovely breakfast room. The stormy weather meant we didn't get to take advantage of the garden, but it looked lovely. All in all, excellent hospitality – we would definitely return and recommend to others.
