Location is great if you have an overnight connection. You can reach it within 10-15mins on the bus for £1.75 - I don’t think the free bus exists anymore. There’s a couple of options for food within a minute ms walk. My room (5) faced the runway and I quite enjoyed watching planes taking off but some might find the noise annoying (it stops after 11pm).
Experience matched expectations for such a cheap price.
The check in and security deposit process is a bit laborious

The convenience of location.
The convenience was also part of the problem. The noise from the airport was disconcerting. Thankfully the 11:00 pm curfew was there, but the traffic was still quite loud, and it was too warm inside to close the windows.

It was relatively inexpensive.
Functional.
The secondary shower was powerful but placed a little weirdly.
There is a hairdryer next to a mirror. Thoughtful.
Storage space okay.
Sockets next to bed. Handy.
Communal kitchen area outside of room. Useful.
Location well placed for Heathrow airport.
Fairly good bus service
The fact they take an extra £50 deposit from you before you start...just in case you damage something. Really?!
Lack of communication and response, unless they want something from you.
Nobody at the premises to let you in, if you're later than 10pm. (Had had an evening flight, baggage claim took ages, then had to locate bus and guess which stop to get off at....no fun on a packed bus and dark outside so you can't see anything).
No instructions or guidance as to what to do if arriving later than expected.
The room itself smelt damp, carpet not very clean.
Decor not in the best of condition.
No bedside table, just a chair.
Could do with a little more thought and consideration
