Nice big room. We had the family room with a double and a bunk, Very comfy beds.
We’re offered fans for the rooms as it was a warm night.
Good location
Nice to be able to put the cars in a ‘car park’ away safely. I’m not sure I’d call it a carpark though, it wouldn’t fit more than 2 cars. Otherwise you’d be blocking each other in.
The bar wasn’t open even in the height of the summer holidays.
The check out situation was weird. There was no one around, no one answered the phone or the ring door bell. No one answered any messages.
Luckily the door to the carpark was unlocked and we just opened the gate and let ourselves out. Then someone just appeared from the kitchen as we were leaving.
We were told the hotel was fully booked with no vacancies. There was definitely no one else in that hotel except us, it was a bit odd.
I was also a bit shocked to find my booking form just left out on a table for all to see, with all my personal details on: address, email etc. I did message the manager about this though who said he would query this with staff (not sure what the outcome was).

Chris was an excellent host and did everything in his power to make us feel welcome, even allowing us into our room early just to drop the cases off. Rooms were clean and presentable an ideal for our family.
I don't have any comments to detract from my statements above. Parking is always an issue in Blackpool but Chris told us of a nearby car park that was handy and only a short walk to the hotel

The location was good.
It was "ok" just your average basic hotel, nothing special, no real issues, it did the job. Quite expensive considering we hadn't realised breakfast was a pre-bookable only additional extra.
The mattress was a bit knackered, very soft and worn out / Cheap. You could feel the springs. Room was actually very small for the price. The shower was a bit dirty with a few stray hairs in it from previous occupants.
