Great Stay Inside
Once you step into the private, exclusive area of Cristina Enea Rooms, it feels like entering a completely different world—clean, pretty, safe, and modern.
The Rooms & Amenities: Our room was spotless and nicely decorated. The comfortable common area/lobby is stocked with helpful extras that aren't inside individual rooms, such as hairdryers, irons, extra towels, and extra toilet paper, along with complimentary coffee.
Service & Convenience: The staff is exceptionally friendly, caring, helpful, and respectful. While checkout is at noon, they kindly allowed us to store our luggage in the lobby area until we were ready to leave.
Interior Security: Inside the property itself, we felt completely secure
Challenging Surroundings Outside:
Once inside the private, exclusive area of Cristina Enea Rooms, it feels like stepping into a completely different world—clean, updated, and very comfortable. However, the surrounding area and the building itself leave a lot to be desired.
The exterior of the building is old and poorly maintained. We were told the conditions remain unchanged because renovating such an old structure would require too much money. Outside, the adjacent plaza attracts loud crowds, drunks, and people smoking late into the night. Street noise persists until about 2:00 to 3:00 AM.
Although my adult daughter and I walked in and out day and night without incident—everyone kept to themselves—the environment made us feel nervous, hyper-vigilant, and forced us to walk quickly.
I would not recommend this property for families with small children; it is far better suited for adult travelers or young adults. Additionally, having a restroom in the shared common area inside would be a very helpful improvement.

Location was great, room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The accommodation included a drink machine, extra towels, hair dryers, etc. There was also a great cafe right below. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Although the entrance, building, and neighborhood feel unwelcoming, the hostel itself is quite new. The small space consists of just a few large, very clean rooms equipped with everything you need.
The square right outside the hostel attracts a lot of shady crowds all day, and the police had to intervene several times.
There is no luggage storage, and they suggested leaving our bags completely unsupervised in the living area.
