Tahoe Woods Penthouse is a lavish vacation home rental in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. You will find a variety of activities close by. This home is in the heart of Heavenly Village, so shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The lake and Heavenly Ski Resort are both within a 5 minute walk or a quick car ride. Enjoy swimming or boating on warmer days and hit the slopes during winter. This property has all the amenities a modern family might want such as flat screen televisions and superfast Wi-Fi. There's a stone gas fireplace surrounded by contemporary furniture in the living room perfect for catching up, and a rear deck directly off the kitchen perfect for barbequing an alfresco dinner while you enjoy the view of the surrounding tall pines. The chef in the family will enjoy preparing meals in the large open kitchen complete with modern appliances and all the utensils you may need. When its time to relax for the evening turn on a movie while you relax by the fire. Down the hall from the living room you'll find the master bedroom with its king size bed and ensuite complete with jetted tub, dual sinks, and glass enclosed shower and a 55" Roku smart TV. A bunk room can be found on this same level with a full bed on bottom and a twin bed on top. A third bedroom will also be found on this level with a Queen size bed and nearby full bath down the hallway. A short walk downstairs will uncover the laundry room and a fourth bedroom with two queen sized beds and a Roku smart TV. Guests will have access to park 1 car in the garage and 1 in the driveway, but no street parking is allowed. The bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom are not ideal for most adults as they have low clearance. Enjoy the slot machine but know that it is for novelty purposes only, no real money play. My family of adult skiers and my two littles (2-5) were all so comfortable in this home. Keeping the kids out of trouble was easy - no sharp corners or breakable sculptures! All the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. We loved the easy walk to the Heavenly Gondola. One note - there are a lot of stairs to bring your things (or your two-year-old) up and down, but it worked well for us.

Overall, we enjoyed the property. It was well maintained, clean, modern and centrally located. We did have some concerns that we had to work with the onsite manager to address. The AC upstairs (main floor) did not work for the first 24hours, the smoke alarm was chirping every 30 seconds in one of the rooms and the ice maker didn't work. After speaking with onsite manager, the AC and smoke alarm was addressed on the 2nd day of our visit and ice was provided. The AC wouldn't have been a big deal but it was during the weekend of a record breaking heat wave. Again, it's a nice property overall and still rating it a 4 out of 5 stars.

We stayed 4 nights in the condo. The refrigerator did not have ice or water, but the manager sent over a case of water and a few pounds of ice right away. The beds were comfortable. The condo is spacious and beautifully decorated. Could use more wine glasses and cocktail glasses. The a/c worked amazingly well. The location was outstanding. We walked to Stateline and Heavenly Village. The slot machine is only for decoration and we couldn't just play for fun, but that was okay. We would stay again!! Highly recommended.

This property fit our needs for our stay in Tahoe. Check in process was easy. Communication with rental agency was great. House was big enough for our family. A few suggestions include: Some of the linen was dirty (comforters), glasses and cups and plates in the kitchen were few - need to add more. Large area rug in downstairs bedroom was a nuisance. It lays on top of the carpet and is almost as big as the room. The doors will not close over the rug and there were big wrinkles in the rug in the middle of the room that we kept tripping over - to get the wrinkles out we would have had to lift both Queen size beds and pull the heavy rug. It made no sense to have the rug over the carpeted room unless there is a big stain or damage to the carpet underneath in which case the carpet should be changed. Also the AC downstairs was not working and it got very hot.

We absolutely loved our stay!! The property was amazing in the best location. We walked to heavenly village/casinos. The only “down” part I would say is check in, instructions can be a bit confusing on how to get garage open etc. aside from that our stay & communication with the property manager was AMAZING!

My husband and I vacationed with my family who traveled in from the East coast to ski at Heavenly. We were less than a 10 minute drive from California Base Lodge lot and a 10 minute walk from Heavenly Village. The space itself was perfect for us, a group of 6 adults. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable and overall, a really pleasant stay.

We had a group of 8 adults for a 5 day ski trip. The condo was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked sufficiently. The parking is convenient. Walking to the Heavenly gondola took about 10 minutes and is was very manageable. Walking to to dinner and shopping was super convenient. There was an issue with the condo below us with noise. The management company was very responsive to our concerns and addressed the issue adequately.

Trip was great! Need to list no elevators and better instructions on entry to condo. Code was not given to unit, just gate. Had to call several times and email These comments are to improve communications between management and guests. We truly enjoyed our stay. Love the design of condo!

The condo was as described. There was plenty of room for our group of 5. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare meals. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony at the end of the day. The location was close to the village and the amphitheater as well. The property managers were great to work with and we would definitely like to stay there again.

This was the perfect place to stay in Tahoe! The place was close to a lot of shops and restaurants allowing us to walk most places. On the inside, it was very clean with an easy check in and check out process. In my welcome email, the door code provided was incorrect but I was able to receive the correct code with a quick phone call. The WiFi was also incorrect on the welcome email but had the correct info on the fridge. I would suggest that the welcome email should be updated to be accurate. Overall, I’m very happy with the place and amenities provided and would definitely stay here again.

We were given the wrong code for check-in and the cleaners were finishing up 10 minutes after our check-in time but it wasn't a big deal and the rest of the stay was perfect. The place is 2 blocks from the main strip. 3 blocks to a grocery store. 5 blocks to state-line casinos. We stayed for a show at Hard Rock and it was an easy walk down the side streets. Place was big and had tall vaulted ceilings. You do have to pack all you stuff up and down 2 flights of stairs to get to the 3rd story. One of the bedrooms is on the 2nd floor but you have to access through the 3rd floor. Well equipped kitchen had everything we needed. Small balcony with table for 4 people and a BBQ. The nice thing is this condo is on the corner of the complex and felt more private with neighbors only on one side and below. Would stay here again.

This property was much bigger than the listing implied, with 2 large bedrooms and 2 smaller but ample bedrooms. The 3rd floor unit had half of the top floor plus a downstairs bedroom and laundry room. We would absolutely stay again. Thanks!
