Myself and my mother had a comfortable sleep in the lovely warm room .we enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner . Staff were very pleasant and helpful.the surroundings are exceptional with a very short walk castlewellan forest park nearby

Location to the forest park
Lovely room, super comfortable and clean
Little bit misleading about “Mountain View” room, it’s facing the streets and the mountains are in the background

A beautiful hotel, decor is very nice and feels luxurious. The location is great and handy to all the facilities and attractions of Castlewellan Forest Park and lake. The staff were very friendly. The cooked food was delicious
Found some of the facilities lacking, no teas in the room and when I asked for some, thinking it had been forgotten I was told there is only coffee in the room!? Also no hairdryers apparently!? A very underwhelming continental breakfast selection of fruit, bread for toast and orange or apple juice. The cooked part was delicious but the cold really let it down a lot!
