Liked the hotel. Onsen nice. We stayed in the South bldg and getting to onsen wasn’t as easy to get to. Had to go to main bld to catch elevator for onsen. Rooms were clean and staff helpful.

It's our second stay at this hotel, we stayed here last year as well. The area is not family friendly, but we knew that. It's a short walk to the station anyways (10 minute) and we can travel to other parts of Tokyo easy. A lot of shops on the main street 1 minute walking distance, combini stores and even a donki.
The only issue I ever have with the staff is when we struggle to understand each other. The level of english is insufficient from some of the staff members but we always manage to work out a solution.

Location is fantastic, very close to train stations and close to all the lively area of Shinjuku. Check in is at 15:00 hrs but you are allowed to leave your luggage earlier. Room was a bit small but with all what is needed, including water, coffee and tea appliances and toilet stuffs. People at the reception very kind and helpful.

The room they put me in had no view. The window was literally blocked by the elevators. Never seen that before… huge bummer. Thin walls. Neighbor storing all night every night.
