One bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs provide the beds for eight occupants. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to cook up those delectable mountain meals and snacks–it'll be easy to channel your inner chef here and surprise your friends! The Maul Cabin also features a large wood deck with an outdoor dining area and a gas grill, creating the perfect spot for cookouts. Plus, your dog is welcome to tag along for a small, nightly fee! What's nearby: The Maul Cabin is located in the East Village of Shaver Lake and is walking distance to the shore of Dorabella Cove. Also, all the shopping and eating establishments Shaver Lake has to offer will be at your fingertips. Make sure to visit one of California's premier waterskiing and fishing lakes, Shaver Lake. It’s popular for water sports activities that include water skiing, jet skis, and windsurfing. Canoeing and kayaking are perfect activities thanks to the Shaver’s quiet coves. However, if you and your group are skiing and snowboarding fans, you'll be thrilled to know the famous China Peak Mountain Resort is 19 miles away and offers 1,679 feet of vertical skiing serviced by seven chairlifts. Things to know: Full kitchen Free WiFi Dog-friendly for a small, nightly fee! If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Very comfortable weekend for five adults and two dogs. We fixed two dinners and enjoyed playing games after watching MLB on tv while dogs could run inside and out safely. Breakfast was enjoyed under the pine trees out on the deck. We had an amazing hike to Dinky Lakes on Saturday and enjoyed walking at ShVer Lake Sunday.

Overall, the house was adequate. Location was close to town and walking distance to the lake. The deck was lovely for outdoor dining and hanging out. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the cabin was pretty dingy and dirty. Definitely a rustic cabin. The carpets especially need to be replaced or at least thoroughly cleaned. But overall we had a great trip to shaver lake.

Has a ton of games, fenced up backyard which was great for the doggies! The kitchen has all the pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. you need! We were able to cook warm meals, bake, and grill! Amazing place and amazing rooms!

The location was easy to find. The local stores are in walking distance. Very spacious home and clean. The only downfall was the sofa. Very uncomfortable.

This little cabin was perfect! There were 7 of us plus 2 dogs. Grandparents, parents, 3 boys (one who has autism), and our 2 dogs. This cabin for all our needs and exceeded our expectations. Fully stocked with appliances and cookware needed for meals and a full laundry. Ample room for all of us to spread out. The video games was an unexpected surprise that entertained for hours. We will be coming back!

Prefect location, walking distance to the lake and to Shaver Lake Pizza. House was clean and well stocked with everything you need. They even had Thanksgiving cooking pans & Thanksgiving themed paper plates set out for us! The wrap around deck and small enclosed area was perfect so our dog could go out with us without having to worry about putting his leash on. Lots of family games to play by the gas fireplace too! Can’t wait to go back again!!

This place is great. The management is top notch and answered quickly and responsively. I had one issue that I caused, and they took care of it quickly and respectfully. The home is very close to the lake, without breaking out a tent. The place is setup for a big family to have a great time.
