The property was “jungle” like with many trees and foliage. A peaceful and tranquil feel to it despite noise from the road. The accommodations were great with a super comfortable bed! Perfect location as walkable to the beach and to the restaurants. The pig and dogs were added bonuses! We loved that we were centrally located to Tamarindo and Playas del Coco. The host was a great communicator and had a really genuine personality! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! 🌴
Being in a small village there was quite a bit a noise from traffic on the secondary road.

Charming hosts. Wifi worked. A/C worked. Pleasant pool area with shady sitting places. Location walking to shops, restaurants.
Not a good value. I understand we were there during a holiday week, but I felt it was very overpriced for equivalent accommodations. Breakfast was extremely overpriced, considering what we paid for the room and what we got. We’ve been to Costa Rica before and every time else when we paid that much, the breakfast was included and much better. There was a sewer or poop smell from time to time in the pool area. Not sure if that was the plumbing or the pig that walks around. One evening, coming back to our room there was no tapwater in the sink, fixed in the morning. Noisy ATV tours stop outside the gate and idle while pointing out monkeys to picture-taking gringos.
