Very helpful staff if you need help planning the next stage of your trip, how to get around, or public transit. Good location, close to the sites of Quito and good restaurants, or just cheap satisfying almuerzos.
I lost my phone the day I arrived and the staff were very helpful. One of them took me to a trustable shop where we purchased an external battery for my burner phone. I very much appreciated that!
After dark the neighborhood is very sketchy. But you can work around that. And the street it is on is fine.

The staff was INCREDIBLE. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. Sweet breakfast in the morning, beautiful courtyard, comfy bed and spacious bathrooms. Super clean. Great WiFi for remote work. Great location in the historic center.
Nothing! Water take a while to warm up but it gets very hot and it’s not a problem.
