Everything, a haven of peace and tranquility in Mérida, walking distance from everything and so peaceful. Loved the pool and the staff were so amazing, friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

Small but excellent and very good accommodation with some very good staff and a great location. Early morning staff very good as we had some very early starts.

Lovely boutique hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Good for those who want a combination of sightseeing and chilling out!
Problems with no water at times were frustrating particularly as it happened early evening and early morning- the worst times. Whilst the staff were helpful, we didn’t get enough proactive communication and managers seemed to be invisible leaving young staff to deal with the problem. Whilst it was resolved eventually each time, a hotel where you can’t get a shower isn’t good. Hopefully the situation has been resolved as otherwise, a lovely hotel.

Interesting. The property itself is fabulous, beautifully designed, the main photo on booking.com doesn’t do it justice, my photo below gives a better sense of it.
It is a riad type property, rooms around a beautiful central pool. The design and fittings in the rooms are lovely, someone with a superb design eye put this together. The hotel is only let down by the service from the staff.
As with most boutique type hotels the property is let down by the staff.
They have the usual sense of entitlement that staff in these small hotels have.
I think they confuse the quality of the hotel with their own self worth. As a result they seem disinterested in being attentive. Humberto was the only member of staff who seemed to understand how guests should be serviced.
The continental breakfast I had paid for was poor. A few slices of bread and fruit. No pastries, breads, hams, yoghurts, only a few pieces of cheese. Coffee not warm or flavoursome even though I mentioned it multiple times!
The pool, whilst beautiful is not properly attended to. On our second morning the water level has dropped a foot which spoilt our morning dip, blue line on photo shows original level.
A final straw was an envelope, demanding payment of a tip, left in the bedroom after the first night.
A gratuity is freely given as a result of appreciation of service, not demanded as a right.
