Great food in the restaurant. Central to the hustle and bustle of New York. Fantastic rooftop bar!

Great view of The Edge from our room, the rooms were really clean and well equipped. The rooftop bar was lovely (but be prepared for rooftop manhattan prices). The bed was really comfortable and there was a good sized bathroom. Location was perfect for midtown location - very close to a few subway stops.
Nothing significant! The ‘cooler’ for the water wasn’t very cold, a refrigerator would be more useful - be aware it is not cold enough to keep perishables in.

Location was very central. Mid town isn't my favourite place to stay but partner was attending a conference and we decided to stay in walking distance. The hotel decor was really modern and we had a great view from our room on the 21st floor. The hotel also offers late checkout which meant we could go on a walking tour on the day we were leaving and come back afterward to shower and change before a long flight! The air-conditioning in the rooms was powerful (but noisy).
There were a few issues which made the stay feel average. On the first day we found one of the pillowcases wasn't completely clean. It had some black and red marks on it which looked like make up/blood, we also found a towel which had some dark marks on the corner too later in the trip. The cleaning team replaced it but it made us question the cleanliness of the bedding and towels.
Each day of the trip the cleaning team would come at different times. On one day we were out of the room all morning and came back at 3pm to find the room still hadn't been cleaned. On another day, I came back at a similar time and had to ask for the room to be serviced while I waited in a coffee shop. The lack of consistency made it hard to plan.
We pulled down the black out blind which was sticking and a picture fell off the wall from the shelf above the bed and hit my arm. It hadn't been hung properly, just leant. We removed it for the remainder of the trip and spoke to management. I hope they fixed this for the next guest, it would have caused a head injury if I'd not lifted my arm (and my arm is still bruised 5 days later).
And finally, my partner was sat at the bar one evening and the bar tender shook a tube with a coffee drink in and sprayed it all over my partners shirt. The hotel offered to sort laundry but it was an external service and we were concerned the shirt wouldn't be returned before we left.
These issues aren't what I'd expect from a 4 star hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.
