Situated in Crested Butte, this attractive house for $229 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. CB business license #008288 Everything you could want in a Crested Butte vacation home. Located in downtown Crested Butte only two houses from the park, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and softball field . It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the free ski bus stop. Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house. The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level plus a washer dryer closet. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the large back deck overlooking the yard. The second half bathroom is also located on the second level. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room for additional guests. The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with refrigerators, 2 freezer drawers for optimum counter space, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware. Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Amenities include television with Amazon firestick, board games and wi-fi. The bathroom is stocked with plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available. Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying the backyard and the many Humming birds that often visit the house for a sip from the feeder. The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area. The large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors. There is a gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. Crested Butte base area.

Very nice property, loved the location in a residential part of town close to the center. Listing is accurate, other reviews seem reliable to me, no shortcuts taken, clear instructions, responsive host. Super dog friendly, with a fenced yard (a lot of snow when we were there) and a balcony (which our dog loved).

We stayed for a week for the kids to do a XC Ski camp at the Crested Butte Nordic Center. The house was great. Due to dietary restrictions (and cost savings as well), we typically cook-in most meals. Finally a VRBO with a decent chef's knife! Thank You! You would be surprised by the number of nice places that have knives that are dangerous to use when cutting potatoes or slicing meat.
The kitchen is well stocked (except a pototo masher, oddly - but there is now a potato masher in the kitchen). Also, not that it is really needed, a hand-mixer is not available, but there is a whisk, so with the added potato masher, all mixing items are there.
Bedding is nice, beds are OK - a bit soft for me - but no complaints.
Location is great - just off 7th Street, so a very easy walk into downtown.
I had several interactions with the owner and the experience was fantastic - thank you Erin!
My only complaint has NOTHING to do with the house - but VRBO - they have to have one of the slowest mobile applications on the market. The lag time and UI is horrible.
Overall, we are looking to CB next year at the same time and will likely reserve this house again.

Erin’s place was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing little vacation. The backyard was also perfect for our two goldens to run around in between hikes and walks to the local pet shop.

Our stay was great, and we loved having cruiser bikes available to take downtown. The yard was lovely, and the house was plenty big for two people to live comfortably for a week. Would definitely recommend!

The listing represents this property well. Nice place, perfect for one or two couples. Fenced in yard was a plus. Kitchen had what it needed, beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. There is another unit in the front of the house but we never heard any noises and hardly knew anyone else was there. The yard is shared.

Great little place! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a little hard to get in and out of the condo, but there's nothing that could be done about that, given the amount of snow. We woupd definitely recommend this place to friends.

The location was great - easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The layout of the house was nice and it was very child friendly. We also appreciated being able to bring our dogs. We were not able to check in until about 3:30pm because the home was still being cleaned and we found some areas that had not been cleaned (shower had hair, carpet covered in previous dog hair, etc) but overall we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay again and would recommend this home to others.

Came out to ski for spring break with our two kids. Great property! Very nice location close to the main street in town (even in the snow/ice), and well outfitted with kitchen equipment and even a good amount of condiments and basic kitchen stables (spices, sugar, etc). Unit also had humidifiers in each bedroom which was great for those of us from more humid climates adjusting to the dry mountain air. Kids loved digging in the snow in the back yard as well!

This duplex was just right for us with a group that enjoyed alpine skiing, Nordic skiing and hanging out downtown. It is comfortably furnished with everything you need for meals at home.

This 2BR 2BA property in Crested Butte was the perfect location for my wife and I to spend 5 nights with our dog between Christmas and New Years. The two bedrooms are located downstairs with the full bathroom, then all of the living space is located upstairs.
We had a minor housekeeping issue when we first arrived after a 13-hour drive, but Erin was incredibly responsive and went out of her way to ensure it was resolved to our satisfaction.
From a design perspective, my wife said that if we ever buy a mountain home, this is exactly how she's like to design it :) ! The property has just about everything you can need for a good mountain vacation. There was even an ice scraper/brush for the car, which was very helpful when we got ~35 inches of snow over the 5 day period!
Finally, the location was great. My wife and I walked into town multiple times throughout the trip (including 3 times on our final day). I also utilized the bus to come back from a day of skiing twice during our visit, and it worked really well.
If you have the opportunity to travel to Crested Butte, this property is a very good option for staying close to town while you're traveling.

We had a lovely week at the house in Crested Butte. It is a warm and practical place with many amenities. We especially enjoyed the upstairs allowing us to hang out together after skiing. Most necessities of daily life (i.e. salt, oil, toilet paper) were in the house and we did not have to go shopping. The location of the house in Crested Butte is really nice. We walked everywhere.
There is one improvement to make though - the majority of pots and pans are lined with chipped teflon. They are not safe to use.
As we like Crested Butte very much we certainly keep your property in mind when we come back.

Overall, this was a great stay. There was good communication ahead of our arrival with check-in instructions. The duplex was very well appointed with particularly good kitchen implements which was handy for Thanksgiving. The location so close to downtown was also perfect as it made for easy walking to get coffee or do some shopping. The only small glitch in the trip was the t.v. My husband is a big college football guy and this was a huge football weekend. There is no cable and the system is not very good. There are a lot of delays and the old time tv picture with the antenna is pretty bad. But other than that, we had a great time and I really appreciate that it was pet friendly. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus! (It is shared with the front duplex but the folks staying there were very considerate with their pets as well, so it went very smoothly.)

Everything was wonderful! The description of the house and area was spot on. Close enough to town that we walked up for dinner several times. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having morning coffee and in the evenings we sat around the fire pit with a glass of wine. Superb place!!!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our week-long stay. The property is conveniently located in town. The open concept second floor with large windows on three sides was a pleasure to spend time in. The cooking facilities are excellent (we prepared many of our dinners). And the deck off the second floor got lots of use.

We had such a wonderful stay! This house was a great size for two couples, we absolutely loved the large porch and the big fenced backyard was great for our dog. The location was perfect, less than 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. We can’t wait to come back!
