About this house rental
Located in Crested Butte, this lovely house for $200 per night is a great option for your next break. Summary: 2BD, 2BA home in CB. Walk to the shuttle stop. The Space: This townhouse is located in the town of Crested Butte within walking distance of everything you need. The unit is centrally located - the heart of downtown is a quick 5 minute walk away or a 7 minute shuttle bus ride to the ski slopes. The school playground is just across the street and there are two parks nearby. The upstairs living allows for great natural light and a cozy, warm atmosphere in the main living space. Note:There is a loft w/stairs off the kitchen behind the gas stove, but that area is now for storage as town regulations don't allow sleeping or habitation because of the lack of safe egress. 1 well behaved dog is allowed. Pet fees apply. The unit has hardwood floors, a gas fireplace and in-floor radiant heat. There are two bedrooms downstairs. One has a queen bed and the other has a twin over full bunk bed and a separate queen bed. This property sleeps 6 total and has an additional pull out chair upstairs. There are 2 full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs. A fully stocked kitchen set up for gourmet cooking rounds out this property. The balcony has beautiful views, a gas grill and seating for 4 - perfect for relaxing! Note:outdoor table and chairs have been stored during winter months, so not pictured in current photos. The unit has a full size washer/dryer. There is satellite TV in the master and family room. The master has a TV with DVD. The guest room has a TV that can be hooked up to a travel or regular DVD player. Plug in and enjoy. The family friendly unit is stocked with lots of fun games just in case of a rainy day. You cannot find a better deal in the town of Crested Butte! No smoking of any kind is allowed inside or outside the property. Failure to follow these rules will incur extra cleaning fees. There is only 1 off-street parking space. Town of Crested Butte STR License #001438 Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email. Guest Access: Check-in instructions including your lockbox code will be sent to you 2 days prior to your arrival at 4 PM MST. The Neighborhood: This house is located in Crested Butte on the Southeast side of town next to the school. The business district starts a few blocs away. Getting Around: A car would be beneficial.

Property is set up well for ski vacations. Plenty of room as you enter to store coats, shoes and snow gear. Short walk to get to the bus stop to head to the mountain or to walk downtown. Comfortable living space and kitchen to cook your own meals!

Had a wonderful stay at the Red Lady, fit 6 women very comfortably. Kitchen is super well stocked for cooking in. Location is ideal and property manager is very communicative. Had a warm welcome from a neighbor who was so kind.

The unit was great for us with a quick walk to downtown and the Green Lake trail. It has everything you need - plenty of towels and bedding. And all the kitchen necessities -plus a few more things you didn't know you would need.

We love coming to CB every summer. We were lucky enough to stay in this wonderful home directly off the main part of town and in walking distance from Clarks. This property was very clean, and came with nice linens. The kitchen was well organized, easy to use and came with a variety of dishes, pots and pans and glassware. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property.

Everything was top notch with two minor exceptions. The TV in the main room was faulty. One quarter of the screen was very dim. Secondly there were no window shades in the back portion of the main living area so afternoon sun was very annoying.

Great place on the edge of town
This was a great little place right on the edge of town. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything that made it feel like home. Having the grill was a nice addition. The location was within walking distance of everything we needed in town. The layout was roomy and spacious for our whole family. Our only complaint was the area construction traffic during the week started at 7AM and went right by the master bedroom. Overall, it's a great place and has everything you need to enjoy the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay at this darling property. I would highly recommend it. Great open kitchen dining and family room. Property manager and owner were very responsive from the beginning! We would return for sure.

Communication with owner was responsive. Townhouse is very bike/walkable to everything in town. Good internet.
Cleanliness/general maintenance of interior could be improved. Exterior painters actually showed up to paint in the middle of our stay.

Excellent location on the edge of town and better in person than Vrbo pics.
Perfect house and location for a family with 3 boys (ages 6-11). It’s across the street from soccer field and bmx bike park (kids who like to ride bikes will do it for hours everyday). Both bedrooms are on 1st floor which keeps them cool throughout the summer day. House does need some kitchen supplies. Only knives in kitchen were butter knives. We would stay here again. Highly recommend it.

Great Town Home - Great Location
We found your town home to be a wonderful fit for our family. With 7 members staying for a week, I was concerned about having enough space for us and our "toys", waders, boots, fly rods, 2 sets of golf clubs, and rock climbing gear. Wonderful Home
The home was updated, functional, and very clean. Location was just far enough off the highway and Elk Ave in town, but close enough that made walking to town easy. The neighbors were nice. Views from the property were excellent. I would highly recommend staying here. We had a great vacation.

Great place to stay!
We recently rented this house for a family vacation. My wife and I took our 3 kids and 2 nephews. When we first arrived I was worried about location because on previous stays we had always been in the middle of town. This house is the first street you come to when you get in town, right next to the school. My worry about location was quickly gone when the kids immediately went and played basketball, played on the soccer field and then grabbed their bikes and went to the dirt track just on the other side of school. It is also a very quick bike ride to Rainbow park which the kids also enjoyed. Needless to say we found the location as good or better than any house we have stayed in Crested Butte and we have been coming twice a year for 6 years now.
The house itself was great and worked perfectly for our group. It has much more room than I expected for a 2 bdrm, 2 Bath house. It was also a nice surprise to have a full size washer and dryer! - it made getting through laundry a much better experience.
The owners could not have been more accommodating and easy to deal with. It was great for the kids but equally as nice for my wife and me. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice home to rent in CB.

Great place for families!
We had a wonderful summer stay at this comfortable and clean condo. The master bedroom and kid's bunk room is on the lower level. Perfect for families with small children who need to be near their parents. The kids loved the bunk room and made a fort out of the lower bunk. They also loved finding the legos and played with them quite a bit. The loft has a really comfortable bed. The loft is really spacious and it is accessed by a very steep yet sturdy ladder (easy on the up, careful on the down!). We would definitely stay here again! Great location, no road noise from 133, easy walk to town. The kids loved riding bikes in the school parking lot.

Relaxing getaway
We were looking for a relaxing mountain getaway and this worked perfectly. The location was ideal, we wondered into town to find a place to eat every evening. Most restaurants were only a few minute walk away. The house is close to running trails. The high school is right across the road: our kids played frisbee etc there in the evenings while we relaxed on the deck. The house was very spacious and comfortable. We had lots of room for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to find your way around. We had one very small issue and Andrea was immediately responsive. Crested Butte is a great place to visit with a family. We were there just for 4 days but managed to do trail running, mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, white water rafting and stand up paddling......and of course eating at a lot of fun restaurants. We plan to be back!

Second time back
We stayed here in the summer of 2012 and 2014! It is a great house for our family. The location is nice as it is in town, near the parks and a short walk to Elk Ave. The house feels new and clean. The bunk room is fun for the kids. The mud room at the entry is convenient for all of the mountain gear.

Perfect!
4 of us used this house as a hub for multiple days of mountain biking in and around Crested Butte. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Plenty of space to rest, great kitchen well stocked with all the utensils and freezer and refrigerator space, an easy walk into town, a fantastic patio upstairs and down. The house was perfect, and our timing was perfect too...Aspens were in full bloom; pleasant days and cool nights. We'll be back!

Great Place to Stay
The house was furnished as though it was someone's home, not a rental; wood floors, nice appliances, plenty of quality linens, nice a/v equipment, and clean. We've been burnt at so many ski resort properties that turned out to be dumps, not living up to their description. That was not the case here, everything was as shown and described on the website.
The location is across a somewhat busy street from the main part of town, but that was not an issue as there was a pedestrian crosswalk and 3 way stop. We didn't have a car and that was no problem either as the market was close, all the restaurants were within an easy walking distance, and the free shuttle got us to the slopes and back. A nice bonus is that some of the nordic trails were right across the street.
Renting was no hassle as the owners were very professional, meeting all of their obligations including promptly returning our security deposit. I would highly recommend this listing, and would rent it again when returning to Crested Butte.

A Totally Relaxing Vacation
This home was immaculate and ready to move in. Our week was filled with walking around the town and neighborhoods as well as various mountain hikes. There are so many local activities that we had to stop and choose each day to be sure we were getting to do all that we possibly could. The home was furnished with everything to cook a full meal, but who wants to cook on vacation? There are wonderful restaurants and the local folks are very friendly and helpful. The owner communicates rapidly and answers all questions . It was just a wonderful experience all around. We will return.
