Room was great, very comfortable, lots of swimming pools although towards end we had lots of people claiming loungers early in morning but had a couple on our terrace we could use. Paid for breakfast a couple of times and that was really great value for money as lots of choice.
Mai Tai bar could have stayed open a bit longer as bar in hotel wasn’t that nice. The beach water seemed full of algae and a bit stagnant.

The staff were very good, especially the waiters and waitresses. We were half board, breakfast and dinner included, all excellent - super variety and all freshly cooked. Very good location for us as we were on a cycling/running/swimming holiday. The bike shop was right next door with cycle and run routes on the doorstep. Relaxed atmosphere, kids playing in all of the pools - family oriented. Definitely not a location for party lovers.
The property is undergoing some refurbishments (much needed) - a little noisy and some of the facilities like the 25m pool were not open. We were probably in a noisier section too as we were just as you come from the main hotel to the apartments, so all the comings and goings could be heard.
The one major negative was the weekend reception staff ordered a taxi for our flights back for 5am, the taxi never showed up and nobody could help us as reception is not manned at night time. The porter did not have access to the booking system, We had to look for help at the nearby hotel!

Laned pool was closed for refurbishment and that was the main reason we chose the hotel. It was a shame they had not mentioned when we booked.
Everything looks very old and tired includes the accommodation.
The staff were absolutely lovely but I honestly wouldn't go back as it is seriously ib need of a massive refurbishment.
It does offer good value for money if you are looking for a budget break.
