The hotel has a great location, the gorgeous beach is just a very short walk away. It is also very close to loads of shops and restaurants as well as the castle. The room was very comfortable, we slept very well, and the staff took great care of us. We booked our stay with half board but we loved the foos so much we ended up having all our meals at the hotel halfway through our stay, I mean they literally had an ice cream machine 🤩.
Everything was fabulous. The only tricky part was the underground parking but there is parking outside the hotel (although it is very popular)

Location Rooftop Pool Great Breakfast and most importantly lovely friendly hotel staff, we were practically the only English staying there and we were made most welcome. We stayed in suite 420 with a huge balcony and unfettered sea views….perfect stay

Nice hotel in a great location in Peniscola. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was large in size and basic but functional in design. The onsite underground parking garage was a big plus for us, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful, with a large, high quality selection of breakfast items, and wonderful staff.
When we arrived at the hotel it was a very hot day, and when we entered the room it was VERY hot inside as well, as housekeeping had completely turned off the AC in the room (judging by the heat in the room, it had been shut off for hours). Also, the room was completely dark when we entered as the heavy curtains had been completely drawn (we assume to keep out the sun / heat, since the AC was off). When we complained at reception we were told to turn on the AC and to wait a while for it to cool down (supposedly, there was no other - cool? - room available that we could be moved into). Not a great start to our stay but the AC eventually kicked-in and cooled down the room after a few hours.
As much as we appreciated the onsite parking, the spaces are VERY narrow and small. Also, getting out of the garage turned into quite an ordeal as the door does not open automatically (long story, but one advice to the hotel: post a sign near the garage door to explain to your guests what they are supposed to do, or place a phone near the garage door, so people can at least give you a call).
