Beautiful, beautiful location! Who wouldn’t love staying with the castle walls! Quaint streets and lovely places for tapas. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere even during this quieter season.
Digital locks. I know it’s the modern way but it felt risky.
Also the private car seemed a long way from where we were staying. We didn’t realise a lift was then needed. A little confusing for us at first. All sorted in the end.
Finally that the check in times had a big gap between 16:00 and 18:30 where it wasn’t possible. It meant we arrived in the dark …however the bonus to us was that we filled in our time with some fantastic views of flamingoes at the Erbe delta en route. The shame is that we didn’t feel we could fully enjoy this wonderful property - it really is lovely.
