The breakfast is out of this world - there is al sorts of great, fresh stuff, including health juices, great cakes, fresh eggs, omelettes, great coffee, and much more. If nothing else, the breakfast is worth staying there! The room is very clean and comfortable. We asked for separate single beds and got another room right away. Excellent gated parking for a fee (16 eu). Exercise room for 5 eu, also dance classes. Live music several evenings, that you can hear from your balcony too. The area is very nice, the seaside is right across the road, there is also a big pool, nice and cold, plus sunbeds, and there is a cute little oceanside bar further down. Excellent restaurants nearby, and fun to take a stroll. Don't forget to take the little train for a great view from above!
Our room faced inward between the two hotel sections and the roar of the building ventilation is audible between 8am and midnight, including the smell of the food. It's quite disturbing, this roar like an airplane engine. It even drowned out the lovely live music on the terrace below. Bring earplugs if you hate this type of noise. Or tell yourself it is the sound of the ocean. No ocean view from the pool, just the walls. Benicarlo sucks, don't bother.

location is very good, 30 seconds walk to the beach and about 5 minutes walk to the old town. The room is very large, although very dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The breakfast was buffet style.
The decor and facilities are very old and dated. This hotel needs refurbishment.
