I arrived to a warm welcome from OSCAR who ensured I was allocated a good room given my length of stay of some 11 days - that forward thinking and client care was wonderful - right until my departure OSCAR would remain attentive and thoughtful - he managed my check on and departure - offering me a breakfast on leaving kind to the very last moment. Whilst the OSCAR goes to... I must give a complimentary message to all the front house of Staff for their professionalism and courtesy shown to me. That alone is a feeling of being home and for that reason alone I will return to this hotel when in Valencia riding on a shoe shine and a smile. The outstanding for me was OSCAR he really cared and I never had to ask twice for assistance nothing was too much or complicated - for him it was a TEAM effort and I echo that spirit. Given the length of stay therein my qualified privilege to say Ladies and Gentlemen - image the moment drum roll and audience expectation as the golden envelope is open who is the winner. AND THE OSCAR GOES TO...
Before I forget big MUCHO GRACIAS to house keeping - wonderful I will give a 8/10 only because I had to repeat my requests but they provided a sterling job and always left me a nice surprise each day - whilst they wanted me to rate their daily performance I left a surprise of my own and completed each request slip and only disclosed in on my final day - I hope it gave the Team a sense of pride as glow - its not a easy job but please treat them with respect.
Breakfast: Coffee stations are well placed and a good brand. And I believe the standard was of good value. I of course mixed it up given my length of stay.
Solution Bike Hire: This recommendation connected me with a individual who was honest and sincere - he will certainly receive my business as good will in the future - his bike and service were excellent and he put care before profit a rare find in this World today. Cycling in Valencia is a gift.
The disappointing thread for me was the poor standard on a gym - which is the heart of my stay requirement. That was a gut punch I didn't expect - this area in my opinion needs a complete overhaul. As I was there for a sporting reason it somewhat ruined that need. The pool well - lets say I was at the beach each day so this facility was not used but again I must say with grace it was not an inviting spot the whole area needs updating. I am more than happy to assist the Hotel further should more detailed feed back be required. However even if I were to visit Valencia again and I will - this will not stop me staying here. There is a gym less 10 minutes away from the Hotel I will use that - so its not a game changer but we adapt. The rooms are not quite what you expect -but its a European standard at first I was not happy given the daily rate but I know OSCAR had done his best for me and I soon found comfort with the room.

The main reason I chose this hotel was for the roof top pool, according to the website it had a bar up there an loads of sun bed etc. when I got up there it was a deserted mess. Had to walk through old store rooms to get there and then nothing , just a deserted pool with loads of rubbish on the floor. No indication on booking or the hotels web site that it wasn’t open , very disappointed.
