The room is beautiful except it has a very unpleasant smell (probably from floor wastes in the bathroom). The view from 7th floor middle wing was spectacular! Bathroom was fabulous. Beds were old but comfortable enough. Aircon was excellent The balcony was great. Other than the bad smells the room was really spacious & lovely..
Breakfast buffet was very good though chaotic with too many people in a small space - & this is low season. Also it finished at 10am on the dot! No sleeping in!
Pool is lovely though shallow & only ladders, no steps, which is no good for less abled people. Plenty of sunloungers (it's low season) & a very attractive sunloungers & bar area by the beach under trees. You have to wear a wrist band for identification by security staff!!!! Horrors!
Staff everywhere are superb! (Thashuli ? On front desk- You are wonderful) Gardens & grounds are amazingly well maintained. It's a lovely resort (except for the rooms smelingl) but I would avoid it during peak times & when there are huge multi day weddings taking place as the facilities may not cope..
The stink from the bathroom wastes permeating the room.
The regimentation of the sunloungers - all lined up in perfect rows like soldiers.
The loud music at the beach club.
That you could not easily get to the main street close by without walking along the beach itself.
Be careful of huge weddings happening during your stay
