A great little hotel within the Old City walls. Friendly hosts, great beds, a spacious bathroom, and fabulous breakfast. Perfect location to explore the Old City, yet in a quiet corner. Great price/value ratio.
Two minor drawbacks (hence the score of 9, not 10):
1. The terrace is tiny; it's rather a large balcony than a proper terrace. If a guest wants to have a smoke, there's no way other guests on the terrace can avoid the smoke.
2. There was some misunderstanding at the gate about whether we needed to buy tickets to the Old City to get to the hotel. I bought them just so the security would let us through, and I realize it's not the hotel's issue, but I think the hotel management should note this potential problem to their guests in advance.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, especially the son who speaks excellent English. The location is brilliant right in the old city walls. It’s good value for what we paid.
The beds are not at all comfortable and it really is very basic. Breakfast wasn’t great with very limited options. It’s more of a home stay than a hotel. The balcony is shared and not attached to any particular room which isn’t clear from the description. Also the view has changed as a property is being built in front but it’s still impressive.

The room had big windows for the location and a balcony accessible also for others. But since the hotel was empty, the balcony could be used exclusively
there was no daily cleaning, the mattresses are extremely hard, the shower is very rusty, and the overall impression not clean
