Very comfortable with a peaceful outlook. Well equiped house with good facilities. Very homely with some interesting books. Well located for some local attractions.
Lots of midges but not something you can do anything about. The deck was generally free of midges and lovely to sit out in the sun.

Super charming little home, great views over the lake, ideally located to visit the surroundings, quiet and comfy, well equipped and nice hosts, overall would 100% recommend

Die Lage ist direkt am Myvaten See. Super Lage. Es war alles vorhanden ,was man benötigt.
Wir haben das Haus für 2 Personen nur gebucht, weil wir keine andere Unterkunft gefunden haben. Für eine Sightseeing Tour lohnt ein Haus gar nicht, zumal wir unser Frühstück selber machen mussten und dafür einkaufen. Das Haus war für unseren Zweck viel zu teuer! Das Haus war ein Privathaus von einem älteren Ehepaar und es wurde fast alles so gelassen. Die Möbel fand ich zu altmodisch. Überall private Familienfotos, das ist für eine Vermietung zu privat. Ich würde nur Fotos oder Bilder von Island aufhängen, darum sind wir auch auf der Insel! Es fehlt eine Gästemappe mit Informationen wie WLAN - Passwort oder Infos aus der Umgebung. Am See sind viele Mücken, ein Fensterschutz gegen die Mücken wäre zum Lüften gut!
