Amazing place. Super spacious and equipped with everything. Hot tub was great. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our time here so much. Quiet and peaceful with great views. Great location; close to Husavik and Akureyi. 20 minutes to Godafoss Waterfall.

Absolutely beautiful Villa with a stunning view. The Villa has everything you need, also for longer stays. The whirlpool is a perfect place to relax after a long day around the diamond circle. We can highly recommend this accommodation und will be back when in Iceland again.

My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room scent, cookbook for reference... ) And the hot-tub!! I think I want to re-visit Iceland just to use this place's hot-tub. Everything was so perfect and lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Svartaborg was the perfect place to celebrate 30 years with my wife. I needed help with a surprise piece of jewelry waiting for us when we arrived and Rósa went out of her way to make that happen. She even delivered on her promise the lights would be there the night of our anniversary.
