Upon first sight, the building and it's location instantly impress and the large on site car park is easily accessed. Beautiful wooden doors lead into the reception area where the feeling of history and quality are very evident, that feeling continued throughout the whole building, including our beautifully appointed rooms. The Inn's kitchen produced meals we felt privileged to eat and the Full Scottish Breakfast worth our six and a half journey alone! And finally, each and every member of staff can only be described as exemplary, such professionalism and genuine warmth is not found everywhere but at The Kirkhouse Inn....is in abundance. Our sincere congratulations and thanks too everyone..

Staff welcoming and well trained. Cosy feel and location ideal for purpose of visit. Food in the restaurant is well presented.
Perhaps just an unfortunate room but low rumbling sound heard all night. The floor boards in the property create loud squeaks when walking on them and the walls are paper thin so anyone awake later than you and walking around will be heard. The mattresses could do with being replaced.
