We had a lovely stay at Callander Meadows on our final evening after a week-long road trip in Scotland. We checked in late, well past after the kitchen had closed. The owner couple warmly welcomed us, including our pet dog and kindly arranged and served a wonderful dinner in their downstairs restaurant. The service was excellent and so warm. And my goodness! The food was SO delicious!!! The hotel and the restaurant are small and intimate, which we loved. They have a lovely back garden/ parking space too. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area and if you are serious food lover!
Parking was difficult to find but the owner was very helpful.

The location of this hotel is very central. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful to us and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

Fabulous short stay here. Nothing too much trouble. Very welcoming and friendly. Lovely bedroom and extremely comfortable bed. The food was superb especially the evening meal. Excellent choice for breakfast. Will definately return to Callander Meadows again. A real gem

Ideally situated for what my friend & I had in mind, which was walking.
Chose the twin room which was very small, this was a single room at best. No where to put your bags, very cramped. Bathroom door was actually two panels that had been hinged together to make a folding door, unfortunately this wasn’t on the runner & basically you had to lift it to close. Beds uncomfortable. A black out curtain that didn’t fit the window when closed, so let light in. TV wasn’t working due to Wi-Fi problems, not a big deal but still should have been brought to our attention.
Breakfast was good.
