Barbara and Cassandra were very hospitality, they gave great tips on things to do and went out of their way to ensure me and my child’s comfort
I didn’t realize no air conditioning when booking it. For that price point of $707 CAD for 6nights I would think AC

The owner Paulo and his family were fantastic people to deal with...I had a problem with my flight and they did everything possible to accommodate me. The whole place was super clean and very quiet. Close enough to walk to the main marina in town for meals and supplies.

Quiet, big parking lot, good shower pressure, that's about it
the location was far away from the city center and didn't feel safe at all, really bad neighbourhood, we had to find taxi's to get out of that street without being afraid; the room was underwhelming to say the least, and the facilities as well - we bought our own towels because we didn't want to touch the ones they gave us as they didn't seem clean; had to buy our own hair dryer and iron as they didn't have any; the windows did not open properly, so you felt as if you didn't have enough air to breathe(they thankfully offered a fan that helped a bit); the beds were sooo uncomfortable, the mattresses should have been thrown away a long time ago, they were half hard and half soft, with springs sticking in your back all night long; huge cockroach seen outside our window, so were afraid they might get inside, but we couldn't close the windows because we would suffocate in that room; the shower kept flooding; Bible verses on the walls...bottom line, if you want to enjoy that beautiful island, DO NOT STAY HERE!
