Stunning views, great breakfast and fantastic staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Dinner was advertised as being available on property for an extra charge but this is not the case. We were not the only people who were caught off guard by this during our stay.

We loved our stay!! The staff was so kind, the room/ view were amazing. Bed was super comfortable! The pool was very much needed on the hot days. Location was great, right by town but also up in the hills for a pretty view. The breakfast every morning was amazing! We’d 100% come back.

Our stay at Casa do Arco was truly memorable. With only three guest rooms, it offers a unique and intimate atmosphere that makes you feel more like you’re staying in a beautiful home than in a hotel.
The views over the Douro Valley are simply breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings make it the perfect place to relax. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and every detail contributed to a comfortable and authentic experience.
If you’re looking for a quiet, personal place to stay while exploring the Douro, we can highly recommend Casa do Arco.
The outdoor area, including the pool, is pleasant but could benefit from a redesign or some rethinking to better match the overall charm of the property.
