It was a unique setting. Modern amenities in a historic property. Breathtaking views, intimate courtyard, comfortable shared spaces. Greeted by owner and treated warmly by staff.
When you first come upon the property, you’re a bit uncertain. You don’t receive a typical reception, it’s more like visiting a person’s private residence rather than a rental property. While it could be off-putting initially, that feeling quickly fades and is replaced with a genuine sense of welcome and warmth.

Beautifully located among the mountains of the Douro Valley, surrounded by vineyards and stunning scenery. The peaceful setting and beautiful views made the stay very special, while still being conveniently close to Pinhão. Our host was extremely attentive, friendly, and always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. A wonderful place to experience the Douro Valley.

It’s a nice property but very secluded and a drive down the mountain.
We were disappointed that we couldn’t get a wine tasting. They gave us a bottle of wine which was nice but I specifically booked this place as it is on a winery and wanted to do the tasting there but no one was around really or available to do it. I likely would have stayed elsewhere had I known.
