I found this quaint resort on Booking.com while looking for a Big Bear getaway for my husbands birthday, and boy were we

the property was very quaint and comfortable, and well maintained. it was nice and warm when we walked in and really just an adorable place

We had a few minor issues with the cable signal, which caused the tv to keep freezing. Also, there is no power outlet on the left side of the bedroom, which made it difficult to keep my phone nearby while charging.

Good value stay

The place was spacious and clean. We had a balcony with furniture and it was not covered in snow. Nice kitchen.

The water took long to get semi warm. Balcony furniture was so dirty we couldn’t enjoy the space. Smallest tv ever and internet was spotty.

Booked here to avoid going down the mountain when it’s dark and ended up having to do that any way.

Clean unit

No hot water when it was like 30 degrees outside. Located by a busy road so it’s very loud.

Cabin worked well for our needs for the night

The location and the size of the cabin worked really well for us. Pretty much had everything we needed for the night. We were able to bring our dog and there is lots of places take him out for exercise and potty breaks.

It was freezing cold in the room when we got there and it took a very long time for it to warm up. Has a lovely fireplace but no wood. We called the front desk to inquire about it but there was no answer.

Cozy & clean mini-cabins near the Village and close to skiiing

Great location, cozy rooms with full equipped kitchen. We had a really late check-in (around 1:30 am) and I contacted the hotel a few night before arrival to let them know. They called me the afternoon of the check in, let me know that they would be leaving the key in a secure area and for us to go right in. Awesome service, was very pleased. Cabins are very clean and have an old school feel, well maintained. We will be definitely coming back when coming to Big Bear in the future!

Very cozy and clean

Everything was amazing. The heater worked very well. There was multiple on demand streaming services available. Location was perfect. Will definitely be staying here again.

when it’s snowing hard, the slope might be hard to climb up to the street. saw a few cars got stuck

clean, comfy, cozy, and I absolutely recommend this resort for a peaceful couples getaway.

The whole atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, also beautiful! plus complimentary Netflix?? It was awesome to be able to binge watch my favorite anime show with my favorite person!

I don’t think I have anything to dislike about the property.

The lodge was awesome. The place was very clean. The area was quiet

The moment we walked in the water was running in the bathroom. We couldn't get it to turn off. The valve must've gone bad. I alerted the staff & told them immediately. The running water didn't bother us...at first...lol. When we came back from dinner, the water had picked up momentum. At that point, it was loud & I was worried we would wake up in the middle of a pond. I tried calling the staff again but there was no answer. We slept in the main room where the futon was. It wasn't ideal but we made the best of it. Had it not been for the bath tub issue, I would give this place an excellent rating across the board. BTW: The staff called me the same day to give us a full refund. I never asked them to do this. That is the mark of great customer relations. I'm sure we'll be back.

the suit I stayed is a bit like a prefab houses. front desk is a bit hard to get hold of I guess it’s because of covid and short staffed? price is on a higher side
