Our room was beautiful. The house felt like a place to rest and recharge. The decor was out of this world. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. 5 star experience all round.
There wasn't anything to dislike here.

I loved absolutely everything about Thistledown Lodge. Enda greeted me upon arrival and carried my bag to my room. The room was just amazing, it was pristinely clean. It had a huge bath in one section of the room to relax in, and a separate bathroom with a very big power shower.
The attention to detail throughout the entire lodge and beautiful gardens makes the whole place so special. I have never stayed anywhere quite like it.
The breakfast has so much to offer, cooked fresh by the host. Truly delicious.
The entire lodge is spotlessly clean. The hosts do an amazing job with every aspect of looking after guests, Enda looked after me and was so friendly. The location couldn’t be more perfect, I will definitely be staying here again.
You cannot improve on perfection !!

Everything about the lodge is totally outstanding. The attention to detail and the focus on customer satisfaction is evident both in every interaction with the utterly delightful hosts, Enda and Martin and in every room. Faultless hospitality at its very best. This is our third or fourth stay and everything about it , from the warmest of welcomes to the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the excellent and freshly cooked breakfast was consistently outstanding. Truly unbeatable in every way. Thank you and see you very soon. Nicholas.
There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this wonderful and beautifully formed boutique lodge and EVERYTHING to love.
