Convenient and a bit quirky. Had character.
The restaurant wasn’t open for evening meal. The owner kindly made us a tray meal but there wasn’t a choice of menu.

Every aspect of our stay here exceeded our expectations. Large, lovely, well decorated room. Really pleasant courtyard and terrace. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly and thoughtful. A perfect stopover on our way to Calais. We will happily stay there again.

The courtyard with various rooms were a lovely setting. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and great coffee.
Nobody to speak to when we arrived. Reception not open 6-9pm as advertised. Restaurant not open, as advertised. We had to drive around looking for a place to eat. We had already driven from Italy.
The shower attachment was broken, so was the elecric socket. There were areas that were dirty. I had been in communication with Helen during the day, but she didn't answer my message asking for help at 7pm.
Helen asked me not to be too harsh in my review, but sorry, I had to be honest.
