Situated in Clackamas County, this lovely house for $256 per night is a great option for your next trip. This hidden gem sits steps away from the banks of the Sandy River on just under two acres. It is the perfect family or group getaway where you can enjoy everything nature and Mt. Hood has to offer. Whether you are skiing and playing around in winter sports or hiking, biking or fishing in the summer this location is unparalleled. There is ample parking for a number of cars and an approved RV as well. *NOTE: During winter season it is likely snow chains will be required to reach the property.* Inside you will find a warm and inviting layout will all new furnishings and décor. Every piece was procured to maximize our guests enjoyment. The foyer opens up on to the main living area with cozy seating and and ample space to sit back and enjoy your time together. Just off the living room is the open dining and kitchen layout. The kitchen is fully stocked for most all of your culinary needs. On the main floor you fill find two spacious bedrooms. One with a king bed, and the other with a queen bed with an additional twin over full bunk bed. A full bath is conveniently located right between these two bedrooms for easy guest access. Upstairs is the primary bedroom suite that is quite spacious with private deck access. There is a small adjoining room that has two bunk beds for more flexibility with kiddos. You will find a large flat screen TV for any streaming you might want to do here as well. The en-suite bathroom is enormous and has a wonderful jetted jacuzzi tub. As great as the main home is, some of the best amenities are close by and out outside! Just off the main living and dining area is a huge deck with a hot tub and manicured outdoor space with a firepit for enjoyment. The Sandy River is just a short walk down the path where you can enjoy the sites and sounds and perhaps do some fishing from the banks. Without a doubt, every group will be spending some time in the 'bunk house'. There you will find three full beds, a huge couch, a TV setup for streaming and a brand new shuffleboard game! This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house. PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. ** Sleeping Arrangements: Main floor: Bedroom 1: King bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed + Twin over full Bunk bed Second floor: Bedroom 3: King bed + twin over twin bunk Detached "Bunkhouse" (no bathroom in bunkhouse) Bedroom 4: Full bed + Full bed + Full bed Amenities: ★ Pet friendly (up to three dogs with fee) pet fee required **Pets required to be on a leash at all times while outside, yard is not fenced. Our group chose this property for our annual retreat, attracted by its spacious and comfortable accommodations. However, during the January 2024 snowstorm, the location at the end of a private road became problematic due to fallen trees, leaving us without water and electricity. Management allowed us to use the wood stove, but there was no wood stockpile on the property.
Despite our proactive measures, including purchasing extra wood bundles, and help from neighbors, it was clear the property was ill-prepared for winter. The detached building faced warping issues where the door wouldn't close, and the lack of wood and water storage made it less suitable.
Future renters should review the contract, as management isn't responsible for power, water, or heat loss. While the property has positives, improvements are needed for winter readiness. Overall, 3/5 starts for the home and property, but our experience led us to leave a day earlier.

The house was great BUT.. The towel holders in all of the bathrooms have been drilled directly into sheet rock and fall out of every wall once a towel is placed — so beware of that. Hot tub was great, but had a lot of sand in it from the previous renters. River was amazing, but two days there were strangers in the backyard, which was uneasy as we had belongings outside. Lastly the smoke detectors went off at 2am while everyone was sleeping yelling fire when there was nothing to be alerted about. The property management also seems like it’s automated. We’d stay here again for the house and river, but these are some things to be aware of.

Eight old friends gathered for a long weekend of BBQ, hiking and hanging by the firepit. The place was perfect for all of these activities. The ability to walk to the river was fantastic and we spent time watching the kingfishers and herons. The house is spacious, clean, and well stocked. The hot tub was appreciated as well. And the extra bunk room helped spread folks out for sleeping.

This was a great place to stay for our Mt. Hood trip. It was spacious enough for 3 siblings’ families, a friend and 2 dogs. The only drawbacks were the hot water smelled like sulfur and the neighbors were non-welcoming….but we would probably stay there again.

Clean and bright tastefully equipped getaway with plenty of comfortable sleeping for a large group but limited living / gathering / bathroom accommodations for a winter season stay. Perfect for our 4 adults not needing the bunk house. Bummed the wood stove was not for guest use but nice outdoor space for hanging by the fire pit. plenty of firewood. Be advised that WAZE does not direct you to the right location home is north side of river, not south side with navigation. Exceptional service from iTrips Northwest will guide you there. Driveway is long and rutty and the neighbors will not tolerate any party noise so very quiet. We’d rent again.

Nice home situated right on the Sandy River. The outdoor space was beautiful and there was plenty of room for our group. We got a little lost finding the place and had to ask for help from the neighbors, who weren't very friendly. We did have some issues during our stay. When we walked into the house we were hit with a very strong awful fish smell. The smell stayed ther duration of our 5 day stay. The fridge smelled like this too and it made the things we put in the fridge smell as well. The fridge/freezer didn't seem to be working properly as it was too warm and we ended up with spoiled food. Our ice cream was liquid after 24 hours of being in the freezer. There was a basketball court, tennis court, and community pool that was advertised but once we got to the location we were told these amenities are not at this location.

This cabin was perfect for our group of 10 friends for a weekend! Plenty of space for everyone - we especially loved the outdoor space and ability to walk down to the river. We will be back!

The property is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of space. Google takes you to the wrong side of the river and as you come down the driveway the whole neighborhood makes you feel very unwelcome with their signage. So the entry journey isn't great but once you're there, you won't be disappointed. Beautiful river scenery and a very secluded feeling.

Amazing!
We rented this home because it is close to Sandy where my daughter was getting married. It was perfect for us and my daughter and her bridesmaids. The extra bunkhouse is something right out of a magazine and fit them all perfectly. The home is located on the beautiful Sandy river. The house and the property offered everything we needed and the managing company were prompt at getting back to me.

Fantastic Stay
This is a great place to stay that is exactly as advertised. It is very clean and an extremely beautiful property. My only constructive criticism is that I would love if the operators had a preferred service you could pay extra for to have a large quantity of firewood delivered to the house.

Don’t be scared off by the neighbors
This was the perfect property to host friends and myself. The road getting there is a little long and the neighbors make it VERY clear they don’t want you there, but we followed the rules of the neighborhood and had zero issues. I would stay here again and again and I hope I can come back at some point.

But don't let it scare you, we were respectful with quiet hours and drove at speed limit inside neighborhood. We didn't have issues.
Property is located 15 minutes from a neighborhood grocery store and 20 min from Sandy City that had Safeway, restaurants, etc. It was perfect.
House had all the amenities we needed and tub was working but slightly dirty maybe just needed a scheduled cleaning soon.
River was 1 minute walk in the backyard for fishing. Didn't catch anything but was still fun. Bring your own fishing gear.
If you have a big group like I did, the 2 restroom with 4 bedroom was a little bit inconvenient but we made it work amongst us. Just keep that in mind. And also one bedroom sleeps 6 (game room w shuffle board) is detached. Kids would've loved to stay there but no access to bathroom without going outside was not convenient.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars across the board is we were notified 15 minutes before we arrived at the cabin that the heating system was not working. The cleaning staff mentioned they were given this information a day earlier. The house was really cold upon arrival - it was snowing - but the space heaters they provided surprisingly kept the place perfectly warm. Besides that it was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Id suggest figuring out a solution to guests dragging snow and pea gravel into the houses - we tried our hardest.

The house was perfect for our group of 15. There was plenty of towels, plates, silverware for our big group. A lot of times when I book for big groups there is a shortage of these things so we really appreciated that there was plenty. One thing that I wish was available was some basic seasonings in the kitchen like salt and pepper but luckily we brought some just in case! We loved all the amazing decor and beautiful backyard. The hot tub was one of the main reasons for booking and it was definitely a highlight! The host was super accommodating because I had asked for a later check out time last minute (so sorry) and they got back to me within the hour. I would without hesitation book again!
