About this house rental

Situated in University District, this attractive house for $402 per night is a great option for your next break. This newer townhouse is located in the University District just north of Downtown Seattle. Close to everything via transit or on foot. It is located off the street behind neighboring townhomes. There are two bedrooms on the top floor, each with a queen sized bed. The bathroom with walk-in shower is also upstairs. The main floor has full kitchen, .5 bathroom, fold out sofa, floor mattress, and TV. The bottom floor offers a one car garage and full sized laundry. There is a small fenced yard I like to give guests space to enjoy their stay without interruption, but am available via text, phone, and email if needed. The townhouse is in a residential neighborhood 7 blocks west of the UW campus, and a 10-15 minute walk to University District Light Rail Station. Grocery, restaurants, shops are even closer. 2 blocks from the Burke-Gilman Trail. There are two flights of stairs in the townhouse. Many busses nearby- you can check King County Metro, or the app onebusaway for specific routes. Light Rail (to SeaTac airport and other locations) is a short walk.

The location near UW can’t be beat. Easily walkable. Host is responsive to texts. Property was not clean when we arrived, though the Host offered to have it cleaned while we were there )too inconvenient for us). Lights were out in both bathrooms and the place is a bit worn and battered. Microwave had a distinctive smell. Host says she will meet with her team to improve it, so it will likely be better in the future.

The property is very clean, the main level is well furnished, and the location is very convenient to the University. However, the bedrooms are very cramped - the bed fills up almost the entire room and there’s nowhere to open a suitcase.

This was a great property for our family. We especially enjoyed the location and back patio. We didn’t have a car and used the light rail system for all of our exploring in the city. Having a market a few blocks away was really nice for our snacking needs!! We ended most nights sitting outside on the back patio enjoying the gorgeous weather. Quiet, friendly neighbors. The only real noise was from the Highway nearby, but it wasn’t too bad.

The unit was very nice and clean and in a good location. Easy walk to lots of stuff. The photos are accurate. It does have AC as advertised, but its not a central AC, it's a single unit upstairs. But most houses here have this setup and few have central AC. The unit did a good job of keeping the upstairs cool. The downstairs was a little warm. We stayed in the summer so we didnt use the heater. I'm sure the heater works fine. The only issue we had was it's advertised to sleep 8 but there is just no way. It's only got two beds and a sofa sleeper / futon. That's 6 adults. There was a small twin mattress tucked away that could have slept another person but there's really no place to put it. Also, there are 1 & 1/2 baths. Not two. 6 adults with one shower is tough. And the place is kind of small so having 6 adults there gets a bit crowded. All that said, this is a great little place and would be perfect for 4 people and we really enjoyed our stay here.
