Comfortable beds, fire tv with apps, heat, microwave and keurig. Great location walking distance to the Village area with restaurants. Right across from the bowling barn.
No fridge, only decaf coffee pods, found hair on the inside blanket on the bed. Bathroom needs update, there was a loose glass shelf above the toilet and small holes in the wall.

An unknown person unlocked the door and tried to enter our room at 2:30 AM in the night.

The building is too old. They seem to have tried to renovate. But it doesn't seem to be successful. The stairs are not cleaned.

room we booked was occupied, I was charged extra and placed in a dirty , half renovated room instead of the 2 bedroom I paid for. It too a manager 2.5 hours to come to the property to get me two rooms in decent condition. We were promised by Booking.com and the property a complete refund. We sated until 12:00 noon, no one came to the desk to respond.

Dirty, unacceptable customer service, they changed our booked room. The did not answer their phone and no one was at the property.

Good location
Booked their grand suite for our family's annual Xmas in July. The whole facility was rundown, every piece of wooden surface on the outside are rotted and dated. The suite was a decent size BUT apparently not finished with the renovation. There were 2 fridges in the suite, one was under the kitchenette counter that looked like it was from 1970s. The other one was standing on the corner with broken seal that render the fridge portion useless because it won't stay cold enough for anything.
The bathroom was dirty and tiny shower. Also smell like mold because there was no fan to draw out moisture from the steamy hot shower.
No soap was provided whatsoever. When I complained to the front desk, the kid with facial tats behind the desk offered me a jug of industrial sized body soap or UMNOUNTED body soap dispenser for my stay, and said that the suite is in the process of remodeling. Why the fluff they put paying guests on an unfinished room? He got his manager and the manager looked like just finished smoking some Meth in his office and offered me partial credit.
The wall plug on the second bedroom was faulty and kept sparking and shocked my gf when she tried to plug in a night light for the room.
Pile of construction dirt was sitting there at the parking lot, with 2 traffic cones marking it, 50 ft away from our suite door.
The kitchenette has zero utensil. They put somewhat modern keurig coffee maker with some pods and basic condiments BUT no foam/paper cup for the hot drinks. They had semi-clear, thin plastic cup for cold drinks.
Even motel 6 has better amenities and cleaner room than this place. It's my first and last time staying there. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is it's location which is right across from the bowling alley and walking distance from the village and other restaurants and bars in town. Other than location, potential guests beware. The cheap price isn't worth the hassle

This OMEO hotel was a real pleasure during my stay at the end of May. Jason and the staff were very helpful and friendly, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel's location was great, close to the village and all the key spots. On-site amenities were flawless, lacking nothing (extra blankets appreciated too). I would definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in Big Bear area. The value for money was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay so thank you guys for everything. Highly recommend!

The guy who checked us in was nice and checked us in early so we could get to our wedding on time.
This is a MOTEL and it is super run down. They are trying to fix it up but there was broken glass everywhere and the floors are super uneven. The whole place feels like it had a rush renovation and the walls are paper thin. We had an incident at the hotel where there was a person on drugs screaming and making tons of noise. They ended up being hostile with us so we left in a hurry at 3:30am because we were scared. We felt saver driving down a foggy mountain than staying another second in that MOTEL. Who ever owns did not care about our horrible experience, nor did they refund our money. Do not stay at this sketchy MOTEL where the owners do not care about their patrons. Only the front desk person is nice, but he is not there 24/7 so if something goes wrong, good luck. We also were checked into the wrong room without a fireplace. The guy changed our room but it still wasn't right and had a fireplace and bunk beds. We were late for the wedding at that point so just had to take it.

The property was in a good location, across the street from the bowling alley with a number of restaurants within walking distance.
We were in room 105. Ask to change rooms if you are given room 105. The workers/management live in a room that shares a wall with room 105. The domestic couple that live in that room were screaming at each other all afternoon. There is a wall heater, and through which you can hear everything going on it in the room. it was awful that my kids had to listen to that nonsense.
Also, the couple living in that room were up making noise/watching tv or on the computer at 4-5 am and woke me up multiple times.
The worst part of the stay was that someone had removed all the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors from the room. The heater was a gas powered wall heater (dangerous for small children as the grates get very hot when the heater is on, something the hotel did not disclose when I booked the room). we had to leave the window cracked open all night to make sure we didn’t die in our sleep. It was 16 degrees below freezing that night. We were not happy.

Jason and his staff made this stay absolutely amazing. When the storm hit we did not have an additional night booked. Jason was able to move rooms around allowing us to book day of and stay in the same room for the same rate. When it dumped rain the next day and our gear was soaked, Jason kindly dried all of our gear while providing rainy day recommendations.
Based on staff alone I would recommend Omeo to everyone. It is also in a perfect location - very close to food, bowling alley/activities are literally across the street, and Bear/Snow Summit are only a few minutes away. Would highly recommend Omeo for your Big Bear getaway! 10/10!
I wouldnt change anything. It is a standard room with amazing staff/accommodations. Omeo was a great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Big Bear.

It was in a good location. Comfy. Clean. Just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The easy access to the room & key was great.
Not a whole lot else on the property but the room. Parking was very limited & off the major street of Big Bear Rd, which is very busy.

Jason was absolutely awesome. Super accommodating and helpful. He got us in a little early which helped out and got us out of the weather. The location was nice and close to everything. The room was warm and pretty clean, the fireplace we enjoyed.
The bed was squeaky and I move a lot due to past back surgery so we didn't sleep very well. The TV went out shortly after the snow came in( Jason tried to fix it , but no luck, and I get it, thats on DirecTV) but that was a bummer as we wanted to watch the football game while enjoying dinner. Overall we enjoyed it though, hopefully you keep updating the rooms. Also, I wish there was more of cover/over hang at the door outside. We couldnt help but track water and snow inside.

Super friendly stuff make you feel like at home. Very cozy lobby includes:
-family room with oversized couches in front of large fireplace and 2 big screen TV’s
-game room with board games, fuzz- ball table, computer games including Oculus
- kitchen with complementary water and snacks.
Rooms are newly remodeled & clean.
Great location- 2 min walking distance to downtown.

The room was very warm and the thermostat was set low. We could hear the neighbors sneeze but weren’t disturbed. The common room was very small but we didn’t use it at all.
