Multiple decks provide spectacular views. There are two decks for viewing the sunrise over the sparkling Atlantic and two decks for enjoying your favorite bottle of wine while watching the sunset. Inside, find three levels of living space. Host family gatherings in the large kitchen, the separate dining room, and the spacious great room, complete with a classic shuffleboard table. Sit down to eat in the dining room or dine al fresco by the pool. Enjoy gorgeous wood floors, leather sofas, a satellite radio system with speakers throughout the house, free WiFi, and two primary bedroom suites (including one with a jetted bathtub). Available activities include board games, books, shuffleboard, Ping-Pong, bikes, Netflix, DVDs, and water basketball for those non-beach moments. To maximize your stay, the owners have also created a three-inch book of local history, must-see events, and discounts for Dunescape guests. Beach chairs are provided for your comfort and enjoyment by the ocean. Direct public beach access is conveniently located a few steps across the street. THINGS TO KNOW This home accepts weekly stays only The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 7 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Our family (8 adults and 1 toddler) stayed at this home in September. It was a great location, so close to the beach, and had many amenities that we took advantage of like the beach wagon, chairs, and bicycles. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit too cold for our toddler to enjoy with the unseasonably cold rainy weather, but we did enjoy the hot tub. Lots of board games for the rainy days and just a short drive to the action in Virginia Beach proper.

Property was a bit isolated, with not much to do in The area. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. House was acceptable and had necessary amentities.

We loved the house! Layout worked so well for our family of 8 adults and 5 grandchildren 5 and under. House very well equipped too. 2 fridges in kitchen and one in cabana was beyond wonderful for our crew! HVAC was great--house was so nice and consistently cool on the VA Beach hot summer days. Pool with cabana such a nice feature! Access to beach right across the street could not have been better. Quite neighborhood street was so nice for our family. Great week. Loved it all.

As good as it gets--the privacy of the lot; the close proximity of the beach and access via a planked walkway; and, the layout of the main floor which allows large family gatherings.

This is our 3rd year at Dunescape. We love the privacy, the proximity to the beach, the lovely pool and cabana. The house is well equipped for everything you need for the week. Unfortunately, due to the service fees added by Vacassa, this house has become too costly for a week’s stay at the beach- —15% increase in 2023, so we have had to consider another realtor for next year.

Location was great. View is breathe taking. Enjoyed our stay. Beds were so comfortable. We will definitely go there again One thing the pool steps needs hand rail for us older folks.
