Cet hôtel est magique : petit, isolé dans un cadre magique, les chambres sont toutes cachées dans la jungle et ne se voient pas depuis la plage, le personnel est A-DO-RA-BLE et aux petits soins. En basse saison (août), il n'y avait que nous dans l'hôtel alors autant dire que le staff était aux petits soins. Les bungalows sont simples mais superbes. La douche en extérieur est magique. Nous avons dormi toutes portes ouvertes mais pour ceux qui ont peur des insectes, cela resterait certainement un aventure. La restauration est très fine et délicieuse : nous avons adoré les ceviche et les tartares de thon. L'hôtel propose plein d'excursions même à la dernière minute. Des tortues se promènent dans la baie tous les matins et sont facilement visibles en paddle. L'endroit était très ressourçant et nous n'avions pas du tout envie de repartir.

The location is amazing. The beach is absolutely fantastic with warm waters.
The hotel is located on an isolated part of Costa Rica which is nice for those who want to get away from noisy places.
The restaurant offers a nice food menu and the local staff was nice.
When we arrived at the hotel, the owners were having a party with lots of loud music, awful barbecue smokes everywhere. We understand this was for a birthday party, although their indecent attitudes (smoking, drinking, shouting) was really not pleasant to see for people like us that just wanted to discover Costa Rica and get in touch with authentic experiences. None of this aligned with what we were looking for, which is a pity cause the area is beautiful.
The isolation of the hotel makes it mandatory to stay in the resort for everything. The hotel is only accessible by boat and you need to pay to get back to the other side where our car is parked. That means we we were stuck at the hotel, even for the food, and the restaurant was dramatically expensive (about 175$ for 3 plain meals and very few drinks)
The room had no decoration at all, very simple. For the price we paid, we had hoped to get something a bit more pleasant. There was no fridge nor water in the rooms. We even had to pay for the drinkable waters, and we only knew at the end of our stay that a free water fountain was available. We were not aware of this.
We wanted to get rid of this place from the start.
