About this condo rental

Situated in Seaside, this lovely condo for $600 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Seaside is a quaint little city by the Pacific Ocean, at the end of the historic Lewis and Clark Trail. This resort is home to one of the most breathtaking waterfront locations in Oregon, and you will have easy beach access. The resort features either a nice deck or a patio with every unit. Pools and spas are open and heated year-round. A fitness center, children’s play area and children’s pool are conveniently located and readily available for guest use. There are also movie rentals and video games available. The resort has a bike storage unit as well. The resort has a parking garage which restricts height access to 6’11”. Many local activities are available to be enjoyed year-round. In the summer you can find a variety of festivals going on. Worldmark’s Seaside resort has the nicest units of any resort or hotel in town. There are various types of units available, and plenty of dates available. All units are frequently refurbished and modernized. Elevators are available in all the buildings. You will enjoy all that Seaside has to offer, then retreat to your fabulous condo and enjoy your fireplace, grill outdoors, or just relax. Although daily housekeeping and room service is not provided, a full kitchen with basic necessities and laundry is. Linens and towels are provided which can be exchanged during your stay with the housekeeping staff. Housekeeping staff is not allowed to enter your room so just call in the morning or early afternoon to catch them while you are in the unit to bring you fresh towels and take away the used towels. Check-in is 5 P.M. plus or minus an hour. Checkout is 10 A.M. There is no A/C at the resort; all units have ceiling fans. According to the US Weather Service, average high temperatures in July and August are about 65 degrees, with average lows in the mid 50's. Just opening the patio or balcony door open will usually keep the unit cool. Rooms are assigned at check-in: substitution from your original reservation unit type is not allowed. All bookings are done through the owner, not the resort. The resort staff cannot extend your stay or refund you for leaving early. The owner might be able extend your stay – worth a try to ask. WorldMark does run your credit card at check-in for a $250 security deposit. This is refundable after checkout if there are no damages, or additional charges. Refunds usually take up to 5 business days to process. Occupancy is strictly regulated at Seaside resort, and WorldMark counts all persons, regardless of age, as a guest, INCLUDING INFANTS. If you plan to have guests visit you during your stay, be sure to ask the front desk if that is allowed. Wristbands may be given to wear so only guests staying at the resort may use the pool and amenities. It is suggested that you obtain Travel Insurance through a reputable agency. We will not be liable for circumstances that are beyond our control such as natural disasters, weather conditions or illnesses. Wi-Fi is provided, typically at a cost of $4.95 a day, which covers up to 4 devices. I will provide my password that covers up to 8 devices for free. You can enjoy an afternoon lunch or snack at the Deli/snack bar. Or just pop into our convenience store for any needed items or souvenirs. Our cleaning requirements have affected check in times, so please be courteous and understand that it is taking longer to prepare units. The wonderful staff at Seaside is working hard to help you enjoy your visit and stay safe! Thank you in advance for being kind and courteous with them. Feel free to go through the timeshare presentation but you may opt out and request no contact so they don’t call and ask you. You have absolutely no obligation to attend any presentation and can let the front desk staff know if you are interested (or NOT) when you check in. Assuming you book and might be calling the resort before arrival, note that you’d dial 0 for the front desk. The 1 given in their message for reservations is only for the owners ;-)

In my opnion, the Worldmark Resort at Seaside the best place to stay at in Seaside. Location-wise, it's right next to the beach and is right by the main street (Broadway). We were assigned a 3 bedroom suite which was just right for our family of 7 (5 young kids). Our favorite part of the resort were the pools; we were there everyday, and the hot tubs were much needed with the occasional chilly days. Our suite was on the 1st floor facing the pool, which was convenient for getting there but also it meant it was a little loud until the pool closed at 10pm which made putting the kids to bed harder. The owner also gave us an extra night which we're very grateful for! The only hang-up during our stay was that there was a 2 hour delay to check in since they happened to have a lot of check-outs when we arrived and the cleaning staff was behind schedule. And the unit was not satisfactorily clean (especially the floors) when we arrived. However, the staff was very helpful; they had the cleaning staff come clean our place later at night and the next day, and they allowed us to do a late check-out at the end of our stay.

Great location, great property. Didn’t love the timeshare presentaron pressuring, but that’s not on the owner, rather on the Wyndham itself and wasn’t that obnoxious. Totally worth it to stay right in the middle of Seaside!

Great views from our balcony on 6th floor. Huge pool the kids loved every morning. And then the beach and boardwalk next to the resort. This is a great vacation home. Checkout is easy. The only catch is that Wyndham really tried to get me to join their timeshare selling breakfast meeting by being a little deceptive. Fortunately I figured it out early and did not waste my morning in a " tutorial presentation".

My sister's family and mine stayed here for the July 4th weekend. The owner was super nice and let us stay two extra days (1 before and 1 after the original booked date) due to last minute cancellation of other reservations without extra charge. The property is located right by the beach and on the main street in the area. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. And the access to the beach was super awesome! And the July 4th firework also took place at the beach right in front of the property. So, the July 4th experience was great! The property has an outdoor pool (85F year round, 3ft~5ft deep), two jacuzzi pools, and a small baby pool. My family loves swimming, so we were at the pool every morning. The game room was pretty nice, too. But you do need to pay to play certain games (pool, air hockey...etc.). The front desk was friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew was also very helpful. You just need to text them, and they will response pretty soon. Overall, we had a wonderful time there. However, the location comes with some drawbacks. If you have kids who go to sleep early at night, being at the prime location with beach/street view would be a bit of a problem. People out on the streets and at the beach were pretty loud even late into the night. And we could also hear people upstairs running in the room till 12:30AM. Highly recommend bringing a few pairs of nice ear plugs to block out all the noises (though didn't work for fireworks, July 4th is special so that night didn't count). Another complaint is that all the appliances in the unit were kind of old. The dishwasher did not work. Although the maintenance crew offered to replace it with a working one, we did not have time for them to come in to do that (we did not want the crew entering our unit when we were not present). The bathroom sink drain was clogged. The maintenance crew fixed that while we were there. The shower in both bathroom was weak and the flow rate was low. We also didn't have enough time for the maintenance crew to come fix them. The door to the balcony does not seal very well, so the smoke/smell from the firework could come into the room. I stuffed some paper towel along the seal to block out the smell. It worked so we didn't have to sleep in the smoke last night. Lastly, the pool water could be cleaner. The water was foggy. I would expect higher quality than this, but these issues were minor and we were not super picky. We really had a great time, so it's all worth it!
