There is a charcoal bbq area, and extra parking at the public lot directly across the street under the west end water tower. Outdoor shower at pool and private walkway to beach. Completely remodeled with in-unit stacked laundry ready for your next trip. Bed linens and towels provided for your convenience as well as soaps, laundry and dish detergent. We loved this place for our visit to the shore. Yes, there is nearly 180 degree view of beach and ocean, you get great views and hear the ocean waves from the balcony, and you walk right to the beach from the property. Place was clean, was well-stocked (except paper goods and soap), had very comfortable beds. Description is accurate. We used the electric fireplace, played games and did a puzzle, walked the beach several times, and felt very comfortable there with the four of us and our two chihuahuas. Only caveat is if someone has any difficulty with steps, as it is second story unit and there are 29 steps to go up, but that was no problem for us (ages 34 to 79). Certainly recommend this place and we hope to return some day.

Beautiful property. Great communication with the owner, even after hours. We had an issue with the thermostat and he called us right away after texting him about the problem. This was our first time staying here and our first time in OIB. The sunrise and sunset view is amazing from the balcony. A very short walk to the sand and from there you can walk miles either way. We saw Dolphins on one of our evening walks which was so great and could not believe the amount of shells we collected just from our walks. We did find the best shells at the far east end by the inlet at low tide. Looking forward to time. :)

Location is amazing. Comfortable King bed. Fully stocked kitchen with new appliances. We called in a minor issue with a loose bathroom faucet and it was addressed right away. Would stay again.

Older building but cool retro vibe property. The view is great and we saw dolphins every day we were there. Sunrises were beautiful and could see some sunset color as well. Comfy beds and furniture. Got take out delivered from Maria's and I recommend for excellent pizza and stromboli. My pets enjoyed our trip as well. It is only 2 floors but there are no elevators so I would not recommend for anyone that has mobility issues with steps. This wasn't a problem for my family but I imagine it would be for some. There is a public handicap beach access right beside the building. I would recommend for anyone looking for comfortable pet friendly oceanfront accomodations in Ocean Isle Beach and I would stay here again.

Unit is oceanfront but make sure you use the back entrance to get to the condo. We were not given explicit directions to the unit and it took us awhile to figure out where it was located! The condo is very comfy cozy but it’s a hike to get down and out and around to the beach walkway! We ended up leaving all our beach stuff in the car and just grabbing it on our way to the beach instead of carrying it up and down the stairs. There is a cute oceanfront porch with deck chairs but everything was covered with bird poop 😂

I can sum up our stay in 1 word: WOW! Everything was fabulous. First off, communication with Michelle, the owner, was top notch. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and she was by far the very best. Incredibly fast replies, great info - just wonderful to work with. The property is exactly as listed. The view from the balcony is the absolute best. Completely unobstructed view. We saw nothing but sand and water. Amazing. The unit was well equipped - we had everything we needed, including lots of ice. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend this property.

The property was just what we needed for our family beach vacation. We loved the deck and the view from it. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook our dinners. The check-in and out process was very easy. The owners were very responsive to an e-mail I sent during our visit. Thank you!

Faucet in master bath sink was not attached and smoke alarm died. Really not a big deal. A better explanation of how door lock works would have been a great help. Have to wait a bit for dead bolt to fully throw. TV directions are backwards. I’m just trying to help. We had a wonderful time!!!!

I found the property to be clean and everything was in working order. It was quite and I very much appreciated that. I did have to contact manager because a parking pass was not left in unit, and one wasn't ever supplied. It did not seem to present a problem, but we were only there two nights.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanfront condo! It was everything we expected and more. We were pleased that the owner had recently changed the pet policy which allowed us to bring our Goldendoodle, Charlie. The owner was a pleasure to interact with as well. We hope to stay here again. Absolutely cannot beat the location and view. This building sits much closer to the ocean than the other “ocean front” buildings. And the condo is ocean front, corner. So you’ve got a more than 180 degree view of beach and ocean.

I didn't realize there was a gate to get to the beach with a code. You guys send multiple text about the code to the front door, but we had to search at how to get to the beach. That was something we missed and it took a minute to actually get to the beach when we had mere hours of sunlight before the rain came. The only other complaint I have is there must be a pet in there at times. Our allergies blew up while in the apartment.

The negatives & the reasons we gave 3 stars. The thing I was most upset about was the deck. there was a railing missing which made one of the gaps very wide. I text and explained that it was gone and that we had a little one who could easily fall the two stories to the ground. He said they would come first thing the next day to fix it. They didn’t come until the afternoon and they did NOT fix it. They just pushed the old screw into the old hole. They didn’t screw it in and didn’t secure it at the bottom. So it swung back and forth and if you pushed even a tiny bit it would have popped out. We tried to be patient, as we know we had come after the hurricane, but there wasn’t much damage anywhere at ocean isle and this should have been a quick, simple thing to fix. And should have been a priority. Not fixing the railing and making it just look like you did while in reality having it still be as dangerous, if not more so, because it look sort of looks fixed, but wasn’t, was very upsetting. If you’re going and have little kids check the railing before you let them on the deck. We didn’t let our little one go back out on the deck. Secondly, when we got there, the place hadn’t been cleaned. We got a text saying the unit was all ready and we could come an hour early. We still didn’t get there until after the normal check in time, but it was weird to get a text saying it was ready early and then get there and it not be cleaned. There were dirty towels in the tub. The beds were all a mess. I texted a pic to the manager and said it wasn’t cleaned. The guy responded quickly and said sorry the cleaning people messed up and didn’t think they needed to clean it. We weren’t upset about it really, because we know people make mistakes and dates can get mixed up. We just took the kids down to the beach for a few hours while they cleaned. It was all clean when we got back. A minor inconvenience was that a good bit of the info in the unit for guests is obsolete. The cable listing in the info book does not reflect the tv service currently there. It took us a while to figure out how the google tv system. All these things made it seem that whoever is running this place, isn’t doing so great. The Positives. The unit is set up&decorated nicely. It has what you need for cooking,The washer and dryer are great. Bed and furniture were nice. There’s sand toys & chairs to use. But I have 3 stars was because they didn’t care enough about kids safety to properly fix the deck.

This condo was perfect for our family of four. Beach access, parking, ocean view from the balcony, it had everything we needed. Our boys loved playing with some different toys for the weekend too. We hope to come again soon!

We enjoyed our stay! The upper corner unit lets in lots of light and overlooks the beach. The sunsets were amazing from the deck. We were surprised there was no toilet paper in one bathroom. A starter roll (as well as a starter roll of paper towels) would be a plus--particularly that tp was in the list of amenities. Hopefully this was an oversight. Overall, the condo was great--well stocked, clean and comfortable. Thank you!
