Located in Downtown Palm Springs, Spirit of Sofia is framed by the backdrop of mountains, palm trees, and midcentury modern homes. Step outside your room and right into the pool. Spirit of Sofia has it all with heated pools, hot tubs, grills, outdoor dining, ample poolside seating, floaties, neon signs, rainbows, road bikes, and even a life-size chess board!

Only a 30-minute drive from the Festival grounds, Palm Springs is a Southern California gem. Known for its arts and culture, this town has plenty to offer for those with a creative side. The Spirit of Sofia values privacy, experience, and simplicity. As such, your stay will be unburdened by hotel lobbies and clunky check-ins/check-outs. Our “Minimal Staff Model” strives to maximize your feeling of seclusion and streamline some of the less-exciting parts of travel. We are just a phone call away if you have any questions or issues : ).
- You will receive detailed check-in instructions via email + text, so you are free to go straight to your flat and start relaxing right away!
- Please be aware of wildlife such as insects, scorpions, and snakes. Our team does their best to check the home before your arrival, but please be mindful about leaving the doors and windows open during your stay.
- Pets per side of hotel (2 sides)
Only Dogs are allowed.
3 dogs max unless approved by management.
Cost: first two pets are FREE. After that for one more pet it is $300.
Service dogs are allowed at no additional charge. Only one service dog allowed per reservation.

Pool temperature is kept at 76 degrees (Oct-Apr), with an option to heat it to 85 degrees for a $150 per day and per pool (there are two pools) with a two day minimum for each pool. Please note that we need to be informed at least 24 hours prior arrival if you wish the pool to be heated.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us than the health, safety, and experience of our guests and staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we cannot always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Such a fun property. Everyone had their own rooms and enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. Would definitely recommend to others.

So amazing to have the entire place to ourselves. We were hesitant only because we didn’t know ahead of time how we would deal with any needs that came up since there are no staff on the property. The manager Chris and his assistant Max met us on arrival and were available to handle requests for towels and amenities and troubleshooting of various things the inevitably come up in a property with 20 rooms full of high quality amenities. We had the entire place to ourselves, privacy to be ourselves and enjoy 4 priceless days of celebration, reconnection and desert sun. We are already dreaming up a return with a large group. Well worth it for a group of 30 for the whole property.
