The room was clean and very open. I loved having a full kitchen in the room to be able to use. The desk is also a great workspace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing is sometimes the bed frame creeks a little bit but other than that it was very comfortable.

The stay was pretty good. I've noticed that I'm only charged an "incidental deposit" when visiting hotels in Michigan. Would make more sense to include them when I prepay for my room on the app. Microwave was in pretty bad shape but, otherwise, pretty good stay

Check in was quick and the lady was very friendly. She remembered who I was from my phone call many hours before we even arrived. Room is really nice has everything we need just like at home.

Couldn’t find a luggage cart. Front desk made me walk to the end of the building and when I came back she finally went to another building to find one. Room very worn with sticky floors. Accessible bathroom with hand-held shower head almost too high to reach. Good thing I had a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to clean the surfaces.

The service was fine but the people that were staying there next to us were creepy. Following us around and staring at us everywhere we went. Also, the room was full of ants, stink bugs and spiders.

This property is under remodeling, I selected it for the kitchenette and the pool. The pool was tatted over at the end of June in Michigan. No no no but no disclosure for the remodeling. The room smelled like weed so I spend hours spraying over it since I have asthma. The cleanliness of the other parts of the room poor also. I needed a fresh set of towels and called 3/4 times to get someone to bring me some no one ever did I had to get them myself, since I am disabled and have flares of my illness this was a day I could’ve really used the help but I had to go get the set myself at 5 pm, after being told all day someone was coming. I get every industry has staffing issues but places won’t even remain open if they can service the clients they do have properly. Do not recommend.

When we arrived it was a pleasant experience, the staff were polite and timely getting us checked in. The hallways to the rooms and the bathroom and entry to our room was dated and the TV was oddly placed but the room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the nice kitchen in the room. We will stay there again when we are in town.and looking forward to seeing the new updates.

The staff were all very friendly and informative. The property is nice and tucked away from the main road. I booked the room based on past experiences at other locations and was not disappointed. The kitchenette is perfect and the desk was a much-needed work space.

We rented a 2 bedroom suite and the room itself was clean and nice in general. There were quite a few "maintenance issues". We did not contact the front desk to make the repairs as we had a busy schedule so in fairness they didn't get a chance to make the corrections. For example, the towel bar just fell off the wall, two lights in the bedroom didn't work which was quite inconvenient, the door to the main bedroom was improperly fitting and hard to close and the common area halls had a very bad / dirty/ air freshener smell. We also booked it because it said it had a pool. When we arrived the pool was covered with a tarp an we were told that it hasn't been open for a year and wouldn't be open for probably another year. All in all it was a good value but needed better attention to detail and cleanliness in the public areas.

Room wasn't the cleanest, we picked up bandaid wrappings off the floor and had to clean the bathroom sink (looked like someone had just shaved). Location and layout were perfect. Breakfast was great!

Internet connection did not work. Front desk gave me an 800 support number to call but after 20 minutes on hold I gave up and checked out. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. Light bulbs burned out.

I am a fan of the Marriott hotels and affiliates. This was the first time for me staying at Towneplace. I noticed a significant difference in front desk hnadling than my favorites (the hotel and courtyard). Proves that first impressions matter. Hard to articulate but the experience was not what I have come to expect at my regular go tos. the suite was perfectly fine. Will go back to Fairfield next time if I cannot get into the Marriott.

The best thing about this property is the staff. They are friendly, courteous and very helpful. At first I was placed in a first floor room facing the parking lot. I asked to be changed due to concerns of being the 1st floor, and the front desk staff not only accommodated my request, she put me in a room in the main building. So make sure to ask if you need such accommodation. Unfortunately, the property itself is very old and dated. The carpets and furniture are old and musty. Everything works fine, but is worn out. The rooms are dark and a bit dreary. The breakfast is standard but always well stocked. They always have tea and coffee available which is great!

Check in was easy. We stayed in a two bedroom unit Sunday - Wednesday, and the building was very quiet. The inside of the unit was clean and comfortable. We didn't cook, but having the kitchen area was nice. Water was hot, we had more than enough towels. We used the gym and while small, the equipment worked. We had parking next to our unit as well. If I were in the area, I would stay here again.
